I've had the same ones on my 4R for a few months now. It took me a few driving sessions to get used to them. Now it just seems "second nature." Prob one of the few thing from there that was actually worth the money. And install is relatively easy. When I had my mirrors disassembled I also changed out the puddle lights to an LED. Killed 2 birds with one stone.

I saw this and thought about it. Do you like it? Is it too big, too small, or does it seem adequate size? Where did you put yours, right above the clock? Any pic would be appreciated :)

After a few days of driving I got used to them. I typically won't merge into a lane in front of anyone unless I can see them in my rear view mirror from the other lane.

Installed the Meso dual color LED map and dome lights. Definitely make a huge difference.

Looks outstanding! What height lift did you go with, looks to be about 2-3"? I did 2" front and back on mine and love the stiffer ride and better look. It's funny, I thought I'd hate the look of a lift while keeping the stock size tires, but now that I have it, it doesn't look bad at all. In fact, it looks more "right" than the stock size tires with no lift.

I set mine at 3.5 and 5.5. I also set the preload on the front coils at 14mm. I based that on the weight calculation of the SSO short bumper I will be installing and a winch.

It didn't take long to get used to them since they were on the Silverado I had previous to the 4runner.

I agree. Looks good enough that I might be motivated to get a lift installed sooner rather than later (I'm already basically throwing away the stock tires before I pick it up tomorrow, Toyos are being put on and the dealer is crediting me $300 for the stock tires).

Well boys and girls, got the new SSO Slimline bumper on. I am so glad I did not follow the template from them because they were way off. I left a lot of extra plastic so I could trim little by little to get the clearance I needed.

Thx and yes, installed the bug/stone guard myself. Super easy and not sure if it actually helps but it will keep thst spot on the hood protected.

To be done for the 4Runner..:D

New LED bulbs (low beam and high beam) and LED fogs that looks like OEM fogs. I'm little nervous on the fog light install as when I look inside my Limited fender liner it doesn't seem to be easy to install fogs. I really hope I don't have to remove the Limited bumper for the install. But I think I would have to remove the entire fog light plastic housing (the rectangular piece)

(Will show the headlight bulbs *if* they are good.)

I recall reading that some LED's won't melt the snow, rendering the LED foggers useless.

I don't think you are wrong about snow not melting.

I have to test myself on a wet snow storm. Last time when I test I did not have much luck proving that. Probably the snow was too dry to stick on to it. Will see if I get any luck. So far no luck. I would never hide from posting a video if it happens. :)

Performance on foggy conditions also it was good when I test. Again, I would def post if I face any issues.
