Installed Rago brackets and 4" cube ditch lights. Weather tech mats. Cargo net. Cargo mat. Ordered Gobi rack with ladder.
Not that I can find. Maybe the fact that Dealers know how cool these are and will not discount off MSRP. These are built like Tanks. Should last 20+ years and still look great.

Thanks. I ordered one 12 weeks ago should have it with in the next two weeks. I love the aggressive look of 4 Runner TRD Pro the best part no chrome.

Yea it's really price honestly. They have mostly the same guts as the TRD Trail but better featured with cooler rims, nicer seats, things like that.

But in the end they build it off the TRD Trail platform, which is rock solid, so unless you are worried the 4Runner in general is unreliable, you're good to go :)

Coming from a '16 Taco its too bad some of the little things haven't made it into the Runner. ie larger HU for the radio/nav blind spot monitors, back up sensors. Being able to run parking lights and fogs at the same time. The Taco had better heating elements in the seats as well. Still the Runner is a better outfit hands down.

Thanks. The Limited has all of that but I personally do not like the exterior look. I need something rugged for work and a nice looking ride for my wife. This TRD Pro is hard to beat.

I thought the seats were the same softex, and what features does it have that the trail doesn't?

It does have the same seat material, just doesn't have the TRD Pro stitching on them.

    I wish Pro's and Trail/TRD's had a 3rd row option.

I guess the only drawback I can think of is the gas mileage. I have aftermarket steel bumpers so I am sure that does not help but I am yet to get over 15mpg, even on full highway run. I guess I should mention mine is a 2016, but I don't think anything has changed from last year.

The biggest killer of MPG is typically increased drag from lift, but more likely heavy tires. Just going from 36lbs / tire to 51lbs/tire I lost 2 MPG in the 4Runner. After the lift, I lost another 0.5.

No aluminium body, no 3 liter diesel no 8 speeds transmission and the price. Other than that it is OK!

Ours is a Canadian '16 4R Trail which, as far as I can tell, is a SRT Trail Premium, whatever that means. But, fitted with Goodyear Duratracs, we get 19-19.5 mpg US on the highway and actually hit 20+, once! - Ted

OK I placed the order with my dealer 2017 4Runner TRD Pro March 24th 2017 I received my TRD Pro July 13th about 16 weeks. The only accessories I ordered was remote start and sliding rear cargo deck. Got the sliding cargo deck ( the sliding rear cargo deck is a must) no remote start but no big deal after market remotes are way better. My TRD came with all weather floor liners and cargo tray $249.00, Roof rack cross bars $185.00 and Exhaust tip $90.00 total $524.00 ( all a waste)so it was a wash the remote was $499.00. The MSRP was $44,234.00. I was fortunate to pay MSRP supposedly they mark up 4to5 K. Personally I don't think a dealer can order a TRD with certain specs they just get in line and take what is given. A word of advise if you are doing a trade in don't get an appraisal when you order wait until the TRD arrives.

All a waste?? All wx floor mats..I need them being in the Midwest(winters suck)...I agree on some of the things. Mine luckily didn't come with the remote start, or slide out cargo tray. Cross bars, and exhaust tip yes I wouldn't have put them on my 4R, but I didn't have a choice and thankfully they were not much coin.

I think that an aluminium body a manual transmission a 3 litre diesel are missing in the 2017 4Runner...

Other than that it is OK

    Maybe in a later model...
