Nice! This was 12”+ of snow last year with the Falkens. Easy peasy.

How is that wheel / tire combo working out for you? I really want to try 255s but am hesitant because I also have 8.5” wide wheels and am concerned with issues when airing down off road

It has been working great. 8.5" is the widest wheel Falken recommends for the 255's. I did that research before I bought the wheels. I am in the 255 gang for life, love this tire size.

Good to know. How low do you typically air down?

Yep! Once I tried 255's, nothing else has ever appealed to me. I regret that I didn't research enough that the 17's come in a good 255 when I recently bought my KM3's. 255/85R16's were my go-to tire size for many years.

More and more companies are coming out with 255's. Such a good size.

Installed a Garmin dash cam "Mini 2" with the Dongar power mirror adapter kit. Overall was a super easy install and I appreciate the small form factor of the camera as I have a handful of other sensors and junk behind the mirror as part of my adaptive cruise or whatever. I also appreciate how you can add up to 4 (maybe 8 but I don't remember) individual cameras within the app so someday I can just find a spare 12v source in the rear and add a second.

    Nice. That’s my plan too.
Is that the standard mount, or the magnetic one?
Did it come with an SD card?
    Thx.

Standard sticky mount - easy to mount and adjust, seems to stick on well
    No SD card

I definitely recommend it! With dashcams I like to just ignore them and have them disappear into the vehicle so this is perfect.

My Christmas vacation mods: swapped out my silver bumper valances for black ones, blacked out the 2 horizontal chrome pieces in the grille, and added a TRD Pro roof rack (also installed LED interior bulbs, but not pictured).

Looks very sharp with the all black look. My first 4Runner was black, but oddly, it's a color I don't see too often anymore.

How do you like the mounts and the lights after living a week with them? I was looking at these (from Canada), but wasn’t sure between the cubes with or without the additional LEDs on the outside edge of the cubes.

Replaced the OEM grille with a cheap Chinese knock off. Surprisingly, found one on the Walmart website for less than $100 (free shipping). Didn't come with any instructions, but enough videos online gave guidance.

Like any knock off, there is always some small issue. In this case, one of the "O's" looks a little wonky. From far back, you can't really tell. Up close you can tell it's a little "off." Overall, I'm pleased though.

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/2-Piece-...ta-4Runner-TRD-PRO-2020-2023-Black/1223066556

I also added some white shackles from Amazon (can see in the pics). Really for aesthetics.

The little divots in pic 4 allowed me to somewhat properly align the letters up after removing the red taping. I played around with the letters before taking the tape off, but either way, that "O" is gonna be wonky. I suspect that the issue has something to do with patents. A letter being "off" keeps the company who produced this to remain out of courts with Toyota.
