I can confirm that there will be a DD sale coming soon, but I can't announce anything yet. I can also confirming that ordering through Hotshot Offroad (and not just DD products) comes with some perks

Not that I've noticed. I went to great lengths to place the SS5's in a location where there is the least amount of grill blocking the light. (Please note, this shot was with the Driving pattern lenses before I changed to Spot pattern.)

As a comparison, right after my DD installation, with no aiming, this is what they looked like in the same spot:

They mostly flooded the area right in front of the 4R with light, and did not project out much at all.

That is exactly what a good fog pattern light is supposed to do.

With 9 individual reflectors, I’d imagine they all fill the beam pattern pretty well.

You did say those were spots? You did say they were not aimed? If I read what you posted... thats your problem. Cant throw light down range if they arent pointed down range?

Replaced the "fogs" on my 18 with the newer (at the time) tundra LEDs. Direct plug in and a very noticeable upgrade.

Not spot lights - Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport fog lights that came with yellow and clear lenses (which I used), to replace my oem fog lights.

I was simply showing in the two photos the difference between installed with no aiming, then after some adjustment. They could probably use a bit of down adjustment.

Are these photos fogs alone or with low beam at the same time?

    WOOT thanks guys!

We didn't do any direct fulfillment yesterday so we'll be tackling everything today. If you ordered fogs of some sort they should get out soon!

theres a video on my insta reels @jade4runner but here’s another photo. I’m obsessed. The amber took some getting used to but I wouldn’t change them for the world now. Has been amazing too in fog and snow.

If you want an opinion based on personal experience, the Sport is actually a better choice for the street. The bean pattern on the Pro is not as well defined and tends to bother oncoming drivers. The new Elite series is even better defined than the Sport.

I’d say to go for the Max if the price doesn’t bother you: crisp cut off like the Sport, output of the Pro.

I had the Pro and went to the Max. Output is actually greater than the Pro, and more usable due to the tighter beam pattern. I'm not sure I could justify the extra cost though. (Don't tell my wife.) That's why the Sport and the new Elite are so tempting for most folks.

I’m gonna go with the pros. It does look like a lot of glare there but I don’t run mine on the street or highway unless it’s a white out or two lane with no traffic.

But I can totally see where the pro could be just too much glare in traffic.

Also… a fog that can’t melt snow is a problem for many.
