Just dropped off my truck to krown rust, They ended up drilling holes to do the rust proofing.

Needless to say I’m pissed off. About it. Hopefully it won’t be an issue down the road

Youre kidding right? You don't just treat the visual side of the metal, you treat the internal portions too. How else are they going to get in to do directional spray coating the the inside tubes of the main frame section? Did you investigate this at all beforehand?

These trucks are stuffed rocker panels, drilling them makes no sense

Stuffed as in filled with something? If so, that’s interesting….

Where did they drill holes? How did they seal them? I would imagine the doors, and frame itself didnt need any, as there are plenty of drainage and access holes all over the place.

I’ll take pictures and post them,

I was told by the krown dealer that when they drilled into the rocker that it was full off some kind of material

Clearly says they drill on their website.

I'm going to go on a limb and say it was on the paperwork as well.

Then they honestly probably wouldn't of honored whatever warranty they have.

Sounds like should or just went with Fluidfilm or something similar.

It sounds like they might have been surprised there was material in there. If these areas are filled at the factory (is that what you mean by stuffed?), it’s surprising they wouldnt have known that.

It makes sense I guess to have empty spaces filled with styrofoam or similar, since that could prevent condensation from occurring inside sealed areas.
