I just picked up my new 2023 TRD off road premium yesterday. I live in Colorado and thought the heated steering wheel would be awesome. I asked the salesperson about the heated steering wheel and he said he hadn't heard of that as an option. To say I was bummed would be an understatement but when I got in it, I found the heated steering wheel button! Salesperson was shocked and I was super happy!

    What color?
My white one is due in on the 10th and now really excited on this heated wheel. Thinking the other was just a one-off mistake (should have been a Canadian unit) but now starting to sound a lot like Christmas.

I’m going to need a part number and all the associated part numbers. I’m doing this, assuming it isn’t going to be $1k.

Yes, I was on 3 different wait lists in 2 states and I waited for months for what I wanted to be allocated to one of them. I happened to walk into a dealer in a smaller town near men and they had what I wanted already on the way. They did not have a waitlist. I didn't want the KDSS package but it had it on it so the dealer said they would discount half of the KDSS if I purchased so I did it. Not only was it the color I wanted but it was also a 2023. The first allocated batch of 2023's for them. I got lucky. One of the waitlists I was on was in Cheyenne, WY. They offered me about 5 over those months but never the color I wanted.

It's actually not shown anywhere. Its not on the spec sheet, I didn't pay for it separate and the dealer didn't even know it was an option.

    TIS indeed have it

but I can't find any parts number and wasted $20 2-day pass, probably need a dealer parts locator to access parts number

I found a number of 23s on AutoTrader with actual interior pics and I can see the heated steering wheel button on US-based 4Runners.

my comment was regarding all 4Runners.
Unless I’m mistaken, only certain trims get it in the US?

Could absolutely be right. I only looked at the Premium or Pro trims, because those are ones I am considering at the moment for a purchase.

Just looked at some SR5 pics here in the US - no switch for the heated wheel.

My 2023 TRD OFF-ROAD PREMIUM was 10 days early. Picked up a few hours ago.

YES on the heated steering wheel!
Guess i need to give up going to Florida and head to Colorado.

I’m really curious how easy would be to retrofit.
I can definitely use some heated steering wheel here in the PNW
My other cars have it, I do miss it on the 4R

I’m with you on this one. I’m assuming it should be plug and play, and there is a blank switch on our dashboard.

I bought the 4runner Off road Premium. The one I thought I had coming, was 2022. This one arrived yesterday Baytown Texas. I didn't think I was getting a rack, but that was added. I tried tons of times last night to auto start with no success. The dealer thought it was standard, but he also had no idea of the heated steering wheel. It seems they are piecing together based on supplies and availability.

2022s do not have heated steering wheels. That’s a new feature for 2023 only for the premiums, TRD pro and limited only.

I have a 2023 TRD off road premium and it does not have a remote start. We tried at the dealer but no go. I will be installing one soon. I was bummed because I wanted that to be one of the upgrades. I didn't want to have to pay for it via the app though so not too big of a deal.

I do have the birds eye camera though. That was an unexpected and cool upgrade.
