Saw something that a heated steering wheel was included on Canadian models. But then someone on another board said they bought a 4runner in California and it has a heated steering wheel. Then, I just saw a video from a dealership in Washington state that was showcasing a TRD PRO in solar octane and it had a heated steering wheel. There is nothing on the Toyota website that indicates a heated wheel in the US. What gives?

Just picked up our new Off Road Premium in Nautical Blue last night (ordered in July). Yup heated steering wheel. When we ordered we thought we were ordering a 22 MODEL Salesman called two weeks later saying it wold be a 23 but everything should be the same ITS NOT !!!!
a big selling point for me was the birds eye camera for some reason the 23's dont have it. It’s an option attached to one of the KDSS packages. Anyway we still took delivery our first 4runner (mainly for my wife) happy so far but again only owned for 18 hours at this point

wow weird what they decide to add and not add. Must be parts shortages? I would love a heated wheel. I added an OEM one in my F150 before but it was pricey. I just got my 18 ORP with only 24000 miles.

I would have liked a heated steering wheel in my 2022 sr5 premium…but the days are numbered for ownership of the 2022 and my new truck being built has it.

That's amazing that the 4R has leapt into the 2010's with a heated steering wheel!

    I'm honestly shocked, haha.

The birds eye cam was not standard on the 22 ORP, it was an added package.

Not even joking, but a heated steering wheel might be reason to get a newer one. The older my hands get, the more I like that feature.

I think I now understand why 2023 vs 2022 there's an almost $700 jump in MSRP across the board.
Toyota has yet to developed the habit of jacking up MSRP yearly for no apparent reason, they always "justify" an increase with something.
I think heated steering wheel, along with other goodies such as BSM RCTA are going to be standard at least on TRD models

Yesterday i had a 2023 SR5 Premium 4wd set up in the last allocation. Called this morning and noticed it has third row seats (absolutely no need). So mgr worked today finding me a 4Runner. I read your post early this morning and now i have a White ‘23 TRD OFF ROAD PREMIUM to be here Oct 10th. Really hope it has the heated wheel. This is way more 4wd than i need. The SR5 4wd would have been fine.
Mine is just showing Sunroof and i had them add the console safe. Is yours showing any extra? No idea if it will have the wheel.

If you look at new 2023 4Runners on auto trader you can see the wheel heater button on all the premium levels. The base sr5 had a blank where it should be.

Prices of everything generally go up yearly. $700 on a base model 4runner ($37k) represents a 2% upcharge. That's generally lower than inflation averages.

I’ll just plan to go to go to Florida for winter and let the sun naturally heat the steering wheel

    Someday good Lord willing.

Can't wait for the parts to be available so I can retrofit the heated wheel to my '21 Pro.

that's a good idea, it doesn't really make much sense just to upgrade my '22 to '23 for heated steering wheel, I think as long as you have a push button start 4Runner, it should be just plug and play parts replacement

anyone who has a 2023 Pro, Limited, TRD Off Road Premium (as far as I know these have heated steering wheels)

could you please test if the heated steering wheel switch retains its position after rebooting the vehicle?

I am honestly not too fussy just some place reasonably nice minus too many “up it type”. I am just an average Joe.

When I retire I just want to get out of Michigan winters after Christmas time. The gray skies and lack of sun really wear on me anymore. I think it would be a good idea to rent and try new places. Prayers for all down there with this latest hurricane threat.

I’d like someplace to I could do some fishing and hopefully make some friends to fish with down there or go biking etal.

After 20+ years going to the panhandle from Texas we bought 2 years ago and really liking the area. Prices reasonable if not on the water but within 20 minutes. Look at Santa Rosa Beach and not at Seaside/WaterColor unless you didn’t mean “reasonably”.

We are doing a week, 10 days, two weeks combo 10 of the 12 months it seems. just now is the best of Florida: October-Early December and March - May we try to spend more time. The beaches are best in the USA with white sand and emerald water. Wished Galvestion was half as nice i could drive 200 miles and not 800 miles. If you would like a little more info mjrawls @ me . com
No i don’t sell real-estate. Just love that area. Please cross your fingers for next week.
