Hello all, I just bought this beauty out of state (they are a little hard to find in Colorado!). I cannot wait to test it out in the mountains and really see what it can do. I purchased used and previous owner really put some money into it. Spare tire mount, custom rear and front bumper/winch/skid plate and running boards from Hefty Fabworks, trail grappler tires, icon suspension, rigid LED fog lights...probably all kinds of other stuff I don't even know about. I recently put a light bar in, HID headlights, and upgraded the putrid sound system-although having an issue with the speakers in the hatch I am seeking to resolve... I love this ride and seem to get compliments daily. I hope I can learn a lot here I am new to the off road game but intend on being a pro sooner than later  20170325_124240.jpg 20170325_130633.jpg 20170402_141454.jpg

Thanks brother, I was searching TRD PRO's online and it was love at first site, it stuck out like a sore thumb-not one of the 200 or so I saw looked anything like this! Got the deal done over the phone, the kid at the dealership literally called me within a minute of submitting my info online for my interest in it. Paid about $45k for it delivered to me over 800 miles. I figure the guy who had it before me had to put at least !
$10K in upgrades in it if not more, so to me well worth the price! Now I just need to find some spots to put it to the test and get my money's worth!

I wish I had 45k to spend on your truck! Looks like an amazing deal! What sound system did you go with?

I don't have the money to spend on it that's why my wife hates me lol...did the 6 year loan :frustrated: Well after getting a $2400 quote from car toys I went where we all go to get the deals...the hood! Went all rockford fosgate. Left factory tweets in the front and same head unit (for now), Put two punch component 6x9 brackets in the front (factory is 6.5 I think?), and 6x9 punch in the rear doors and hatch (which currently aren't putting out sound and it still sounds amazing), and a 12 inch punch sub with a built in amp. The mids/highs running on a little 300W 4 channel punch amp that puts out more than that according to the dealer. Gets hot as shit though the only downside. Mounted under rear seats.

Haha what head unit you thinking about? I saw someone with a pioneer unit that supports Apple Play. Not sure if rear cam works.

Nothing anytime soon, I've spent enough this month, hell this year for that matter. I am pretty satisfied with and the navigation is way better than my wife's pathfinder, so planning on keeping for now. If I can get a great deal on something maybe I will look at it as the sound quality will greatly improve according to my stereo guy. But he says I will lose the navigation but they do have some that can integrate with android phone maps, I am not an apple guy. I like the rear cam too even though my tire blocks half the view!

@chamberman1979 I know you bought yours already set up and ready to go, but do you know what rear coils you have on your PRO? I am thinking of going hefty fab steel in the back and currently have the icon stage 1 2" coils. I think I need to beef mine up to avoid sag....thanks!

I wanted one in Quicksand SO BAD but there weren't any around Houston. I totally love my white pro - but every time I pass a quicksand on the street I feel envious! That thing is gorgeous!

Distance is no excuse! (Side note I am originally from Houston) I live in Colorado and you can't even get a TRD PRO they sell so damn fast, I scored mine from a dealership in Arizona I found online and paid to have it transported! But thanks I love it, the color is what sold me...you can't even tell when it's dirty not sure if that's good or bad o_O

I was looking at one in NC but when I saw this one in the showroom I fell for it...still drool over those quicksand though. Can't help it! I saw one at Jambo and had to stop and talk to the driver. It's just too sexy!

@chamberman1979 From what I can see it looks like a stage 4 or above icon setup. With that stage set up they would have put on the 3" icon overland series rear coil which would make sense since he put on the rear steel hefty bumper.

So school me real quick what does the 2.5 mean on the coil? I was thinking inches but sounds like I was wrong. All this necessary for the heavy ass bumpers on here? How much you think he dropped on this suspension? Doesn't look cheap! Any maintenance ever necessary?
    THANKS!

2.5 is the thickness of the shock body. Great rig btw and welcome to the show. You usually need to get your suspension rebuilt every 25,000 miles depending on what type of service it's performing. :kona:

Oh wow thanks for the info and thanks for the props, it was love at first sight when I saw this baby! About what does that rebuild cost do you think? I suppose best place would be a 4x4 shop of some sort? I bought this across state lines so I have no idea who put it on for the previous owner.

It'll run roughly about 150 a shock. Now that being said I told you I took mine in every 25,000 miles which is for a complete rebuild that's about 50% road 50% off road. Normally the manufacturer want it rebuilt every 10,000 with periodic maintenance every 1,000 miles but to take off the suspension and leave my rig on the drive way that often wasn't an option so I pretty much doubled the length. Just check your seals and settings. also your nitrogen pressure level which can be done while on the vehicle.

I seriously doubt Toyota Dealership will work on rebuilding the suspension since the TRD Bilsteins are pretty much fire and forget and I know you have Icons. I could be wrong though but this might help. Since I'm not to sure what part of Colorado you're at but this should get you in the general direction.
