My first 4Runner! Bought a 2015 SR5 with 29k miles. Installed some AVS window and hood visors, Husky Weatherbeaters, NFab Nerf Bars, blacked out emblems, and some xenon white interior lights and back up lights so far. Eventually want new LED headlights, fog lights, 2-3" lift with new tires and black wheels. Gobi rack and ladder look amazing as well. Total newb here so I'll need a lot of guidance once I start modding! Thanks!

Did you dip your badges or use a overlay kit, did you also do the rear? I was thinking of just doing the front badge.
Don't do LEDs in your low beams, gotta go with HIDs due to the design of the headlight. The lightbulb is inserted to the side not facing forward this means if you inserted a LED you would only have one side actually projecting out. I used xenon depot and went with 6000k thinking they would match the Auxbeam LEDs in my fogs and Highbeams but it was a little bluer then I wanted so I switched to 5000k and am very happy with them, whiter and brighter

Is the overlay easy enough to apply? And are they solid enough to withstand the car wash when you don't hand-wash?

They literally took me about 3 minutes to apply. I've taken it through the wash no problems.

Thanks! Traded in my 2017 WRX for it. Don't miss it at all surprisingly! Loving the Runner! Can't wait to mod it!

    Congrats on the 4Runner.

What didn't you like about the WRX?

I loved pretty much everything about the WRX. That thing was a beast, had great power and could grip for days on ramps and corners. My wife hated everything about it... how low it was, how fast it was, how jerky it was, etc. And she couldn't learn manual so it had to go... 01a53cba307a0d096b43acdb7f31c5fb_a256eeb4068782e09443efd37d73858b42d63aca.jpg01a53cba307a0d096b43acdb7f31c5fb_a256eeb4068782e09443efd37d73858b42d63aca.jpg
