Not the most "scenic" but spent the week in the Tahoe area working on the family cabin! I was glad I caught the flag just right haha!

Nice. Where about’s did you camp? I’d like to go up there and do an overnighter.

 

That's a HECK of a roof-top tent!!

 

There's a designated dispersed camping area behind the entrance Holcomb Valley Campground. We camp there at least 2 times a year and love it!

The flag on the 4Runner is right. The flag over the house (on a staff, correct, and understood) is left. (Hopefully you can appreciate what I mean.) Nonetheless, both AWESOME!

 

I snap that pic every time I go up. Cabin was built by my grandfather in 1949. I am now the executor of it so I am doing 50years of deferred maintenance. Haha, Gunna cash in the daughters college fund to cover it haha!

 

Dang they do come to the beach! I was told they hide out in the backside. Wish they were at the beach when I was there just 2 months ago

 

Just saw my first Lunar Rock. It was a pale green in the sunset.

 

They seam to come and go. One day I saw a few herds. They next I couldn’t find one. Probably out grazing. Sweet looking rig btw.

 

Camping and hiking trip to Joshua Tree NP. On the way out drove south on Geology Tour / Berdoo Road but bailed at the head of the canyon’s tight, rocky section.

That ledge looks gnarly!

 

It was pretty tall, but the rock pile definitely helped. That was the first "obstacle" I've ever rolled over, I was alone and a bit nervous. Between the rear diff lock and the A-TRAC she didn't even pause, just climbed right over. This thing continues to amaze me with what it can do nearly stock, with really nothing more than a simple lift kit as far as performance mods go.
