Floor mats

Other than weather tech, are there any other recommended all weather mats?

For the weather tech owners, how do they hold up!

 

Husky is a good choice.

 

I've used WeatherTech for our last 3 vehicles and fully endorse their products. However, for our new 4R I went with Husky due to reviews, extended coverage for door sills and the driver side front (which extends up into the pedal area further than WeatherTech) - and finally - the Husky rear cargo liner covers the side pockets in the back where the WeatherTech is a straight run. Very satisfied with the decision (other than the label on the mats), but be aware that the Husky cargo tray will take time to 'relax' after being curled up during shipment. Upon receipt, I left the rear cargo mat laying flat on our patio in the sun for a couple of days and the 'ears' on the driver/passenger side were still curled. After sitting in the truck for a few 80' days it's now fine.

We also added the Canvas Back liners (cargo area, seat backs and bumper extension protector). These are as good as advertised - exceptional fit and finish.

Fit great and are easy to clean. No logo.

 

I’ve got the Toyota all weather mats and they’ve been great. Came with the car.

 

My buddy has husky and loves them. I have the Toyota for front and rear seat as it came with vehicle.

I bought the weather Tec rear liner since it has a snap in flip out pad to protect the bumper.

I sort of wish I had husky though for the front and rear seats

 

I have a place deep in the mountains of Idaho. The oemmats have been great!

 

I have OEDRO floor mats and I’m very pleased. Great fit and no wear. Looks like they are out of stock right now, but you can get notified when they are available.

 

Have the Toyota mats that came with the car. Wife, however, wanted new ones so I bought her the Weather Tech=great and "lock down" well so no slithering!

I too have a full set of OEDRO mats, and they work great. Good price too.

 

OEM, works perfect.

 

I've been looking at these. Has anyone compared them to Husky? Is the coverage just as good?

I bought a set of the OEDRO mats and removed the obnoxious metal badging and replaced it with self-adhesive traction mat pieces.

 

That’s a good fix. I glued some small black plugs in the holes.

 

I use the Maxpider Kagu mats, tough and don't fold and warp like the rubber weathertech style. Ordered some for the 4runner. Had them in my Taco and currently in our CRV.

I've had oem, WeatherTech, Maxpider and Husky. The currently owned Oedro are better than any of those I've had previously.

 

I went with weather tech for every vehicle I had and never had a complaint. If you want OEM mats I have mine brand new in the box for the front and rear & will sell for $50 + shipping. Came with the vehicle & I never ordered or wanted them.

 

I have Husky liners and the only thing I don't like about them is that water gets through them at the attachment points on the fronts, causing the carpet below to get wet. I wouldn't buy them again.

 

Here's what I replaced the metal badges with on my OEDRO mats:

 

The rubber OEM Suck, and don't protect the entry side at all when climbing in. Always particles on the carpet no matter how anal i am. Just ordered the lasfit for under 100 bucks! They have a father days coupon going right now for an extra 15% off.

 

The OEM mats have seemed to work just fine in my rig. No complaints.

 

I have Weather Tech mats in three vehicles and I think they're the best. In the 4Runner, I went with OEM ones in the front, for the stupid reason that I wanted the "4Runner" lettering. they don't protect nearly as well as Weathertech though...the perimeter lip is way too short and flexible. all that said, from what I hear, Husky is the next best.

 

I really like the new Weather Tech HP floor liner. Good coverage with high sides.

 

Max Liner are Weather Tech quality with less cost. You can get them on Amazon.

 

Husky are better than weathertech

 

I was just going to post the exact opposite.

I have Weathertech in my 4Runner, but that purchase was based on having both Weathertech and Husky in my Expedition. Both did the job, but the Husky mounting holes, after about 35k miles, loosened up, allowing water to leak below the mats, and eventually they got to the point that the mounting holes simply didn't work. I started to do the warranty thing, but the experience started to resemble the Johnny Depp / Amber Heard trial for me after several phone calls and emails, so, I just bought some Weathertechs. Had them in there for about another 40k before I sold the vehicle. I did like the Husky cargo area mat better though and kept that one.
