KDSS? Just got my Dobinson's set up and looking for a reputable shop to do the job. I'm a bit too old to be attempting the install.

No KDSS on mine. I wish I had some recommendations on reputable shops. I've only been in PHX for about 2 years now so I'm still figuring things out.

On my wife's 2019 Limited AWD (a highway queen) I changed out the 20" factory wheels and tires to 17" TRD wheels and BFGoodrich's Advantage T/A Sport LT tires. The Limited's 20" wheels and tires weighted in at 76lbs. The 17" TRD wheels and tires weight 61lbs. I dropped 15lbs at each corner plus changed the dynamics of the rotational mass by moving more mass towards the center of the wheel. I have always noticed my Limited to be more sluggish and brake a bit slower then my TRD ORP - the parasitic drag of the AWD system and those 20" heavy wheels. My TRD ORP is still a bit more responsive but drivability of the Limited is much better now.

    2019 Limited / 2021 TRD ORP / 2019 TRD OR (Sold)

2020 Limited with OEM TRD wheels wearing Michelin CrossClimate E Load. The stock 20” wheels and tires are in the garage awaiting an eventual tire transplant as a second set of tires to have on hand. If I like this new setup over the next couple thousand miles, I’ll order a matching fifth wheel and tire to make it my spare and then maybe commence a five wheel rotation schedule.

After a 8 month wait, they are finally here. Looking at a few wheel/tire set-up's on here (specifically thatbassguy and banxwondar), I had to get some yoko's too:

Quick update after doing a few trails. Zero rub on this combo on stock wheels with no spacers. I did the front fender liner mod and removed the front mud flaps. No BMC. We took it on some trails near the house and also out in Sedona and no issues or rubbing at all.

Here's mine after I swapped the Michelins, shown in my earlier post, for Scorpion ATs.

How are you liking these Pirelli’s so far? Any notice of change in mileage? Road noise?

Pretty good so far. Road noise is minimal, especially given the AT tread. I recently did a 300 mile trip, mostly at 50-70 mph, and averaged just over 20 mpg. Around town they seem worse than the touring tires I had been running, but haven’t noticed a difference on the highway.

Rain performance good but not stellar. I got them to be a good all arounder on and off road that importantly would be good in the snow while being tougher / more puncture resistant on road. Time will tell on the toughnesses and snow. Otherwise so far so good.

Thanks for your input. I've looked at these, maxxis razr at, firestone at2, cooper at3 sl(running these now)... I think i might go with maxxis, giving the tread looks aggressive enough and they are only 43lbs for 285 70 17, but still up for debate, especially if I step up to 315 70 17, then k02 or goodyear territory mt since those weigh around 55lbs.

Anyone have thoughts or experience with this wheel company, Rock Trix? Not usually my style, at all, but its been calling me. Def would do something with the center caps. Kinda look like Black Rhino but half the weight and cost.
