well I wouldn't go that far - and I was pretty annoyed with my Tacoma. It was clear to me that the Tacoma for the price the was an overly clunky, noisy, rattley truck but it was also clear it would probably still go 300K kms and be on the road long after same model year competition litter junkyards.

Compared to GM, Ford, Fiat and Nissan the American-made Toyota trucks are still so far ahead it'll give you a nosebleed. The Japanese plants just appaear to be a cut above that still.

Just to lower the seriousness of it, you know what I do t miss her? My cup holder coming out constantly lol .

Or on a more serious note, I was glad that my remote start doesn’t turn off when I open the door. The little things…

Well thankfully, a commercial is the least important factor of why anyone with a brain buys an auto

I got nothing constructive to add except that I really don’t like cars with push button start or remote start.

I like having a physical key and there not being a chance of the vehicle being left to run if the key is outside and in my pocket.

My wife’s elderly aunt bought a new Infiniti with push button start and left the damn thing running in her garage overnight, thankfully she didn’t die.

My six-year-old likes to dig through my wife’s purse and fuck around with the keys to her Cayenne, thankfully we leave it parked outside.

Same here. Sadly new 4Runners and all other new cars have key fobs. So I bought Faraday box from Amazon to store it to reduce chance of theft. Traditional key with chip was so much better and the battery life would also be better than new. I keep spare battery just in case.

have you ever hung out in a 3rd gen Tacoma forum, lots of folks feel they have issues. I like my 3rd gen, but my 2nd is missed more, and I’m getting rid of the Taco for a 4Runner.

Conversely, I’ve hung out in Tundra groups and the general theme is nothing but positives. I’ve not heard too many people complain at all about the last gen Tundra (pre 2022)

That’s because after dealing with the lack of gas mileage, nothing else phases them.:crapstorm:

    Perfect as is.
I have both TRD pros and can tell you the 4runner is by far superior to the Tacoma. Not even close. I was waxing the 4runner the other day and the paint is flawless. Both plastic and metal no difference and the 4runner just drives like a vault.
