What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I’ve done a lot with SPCs and pro shocks with eibach front springs with a 1/4” top shim and dobs c59-505 rears. 2” lift vs stock pro front and back.

 

Looks great! I intend to ultimately go this route as well, to include the Toyo OC AT3. What is height gain front and rear? Thanks!

It was super nice out so I did a little engine bay detailing this afternoon.

dang..how? I’m running 275s with a 2 inch lift and had to remove front flaps, inner liner pull, and do a minor fender cut

 

I installed LED reverse lights. I'll definitely be adding more LED's. Found a good price at Amazon for the Lasfit bulbs.

His truck already has the fender liner mod from port.

What wheels do you have? Offset?

Do you have wheel spacers?

 

I put the covers back on. I had LEDs on my previous truck and never had any problems in the Florida heat. Not sure how Valley heat compares, but so far so good.

 

Two weeks later, the other one went out. Stocks are Philips as well. Went back to stock and I’ll just keep it at that with the led fog lights.

 

I was surprised as well. The trd pro comes with the front bumper already trimmed from port. Every vehicle varies slightly but it helps that I’m on stock wheels as well.

 

That is a great looking rig. Just the right stance to it.

 

Depending on which manufacturer and type of stock H11 bulb you install, you’ll get 300-400 hrs of use (and 1250 lumens) vs 250 hrs of use (and 2100 lumens) from an H9 bulb. I keep a modified H9 spare pair in my tool kit in case one burns out. But recently I’ve just been changing them once per year before failure. Cost = $26 US.

It seems stocks are not that bad after I installed the Pro led fog lights. I’m gonna ride it like this and call it a day as she’s spoken for already before the end of the year.

It was FINALLY a nice day here in the Fort. Like REALLY NICE… so after some lawn work I cheated On her for a cruise with my other lady who’s red headed after she got a bath.
She snarled at me a little bit when I walked past her in the garage.

Changed out the rear diff oil in the 4Runner (front diff oil happening later). Anyways first diff oil change since changing over to .488 gears and an ARB locker. Was quite surprised by how much metal was in there and I even saw some tiny metal flakes. Kinda hoping all is okay…
