It will not simply bolt and clip into place if that's what you're asking. I cut my '87 headlight bezels to make an 81-83 grill fit, and fiberglassed them together. You could fit round headlights with customization.

Ok. I just didn't know if somebody on here converted the square headlights into retro looking round ones. I think if I can get the headlight doors from a 1980 truck I can trim them to fit. I hope...

Thanks. And it is certainly possible with some creativity and modification.

I will post pics when it's done.
With some cutting would you think the 1980 doors would fit though?

I think you would need the pickup grill. Like i said, i had to cut my factory headlight bezels to fit with the pickup grill. If you use the pickup headlight bezels with your factory grill, there will be a gap as the 4runner grill is narrower.

Did it on my 87, used the grill and lights from a 80 pickup I had. Lights are plug and go, no cut and splicing, I just set them where the stock ones went and used long screws with some washers to keep it from receting back any

I am looking into modifying FJ60 headlight bezels and grill to see if I can make them work. Will be a few weeks before I can find parts too, but will update everyone if I get it figured out.
