I know, saw it in the previous post. Just figured you were trying to fit in with all Chevy guys. The color combination looks good, bronze wheels have been tempting for awhile but I just retired so all my stuff is on hold until I figure what I want to do now that I have to grow up

It’s a little rubby at full lock right now. Tim is going to be doing a DRT Fab body mount relocation for me next week.

 

Spent the day over at Timbo’s customs getting some stuff glued on.

 

Damn! Those body mounts look nice. I was going to do a bmc tomorrow but now that I see those.... do they come welded like that or do you have to piece it together? Looks so easy. Cut, grind, testfit, tack, then fully weld, they would really help when going to a larger then 33" tire.

I know you’ve helped a bunch of rigs get built but, just as a possible educational standpoint. More caster doesn’t =clearance. For instance I’m running spc UCAs and had to dial them back to +1 instead of the +2 they come set at to get the proper clearance at the cab. Upper control arms add caster by moving the top of the tire/spindle back toward the cab. The only way to add caster while getting more clearance is by aftermarket LCA.

When you run out of shit to do while waiting on armor to show up, what do you do? You go buy a fast toy to play with in the mean time.

T4R going to Timbo’s Customs next week for a few days to have the 4.88’s, C4 Hybrid bumper, winch, 700# coils, and C4 skids installed.

 

Things are progressing with the T4R. C4 hybrid bumper, C4 skids, and 12k winch installed. 700 pound coils will go on when the 4.88’s get done. Waiting on pinion bearings to arrive before the gears get done.


On a side note, sold the Mustang and picked up a 2023 Lexus is500 Performance Premium to keep the garage fluid with Toyota products

 

The T4R is home. Picked her up from Timbo’s Customs in Lakeland today. She’s got 4.88’s, C4 Hybrid front bumper, Lasfit LED fogs, and a 12k winch now to compliment the Kings on all 4 corners.

 

Latest and greatest. Victory rack put on and on the hunt for rear bumper options.

 

Swapping out the RRW S2’s for some F5’s today. I just like the F5’s better.

 

Ha! When I clicked on this thread, post #352 was where it opened and I had to laugh, I recognize that back yard. I had Tim do my suspension back in January.

Getting back on topic, your rig is looking killer!

 

Ordered some more stuff for the rig. ARB snorkel and Coastal Offroad Rear bumper with dual swing outs on the way.

 

Productive weekend. Caliraised low pro ditch light brackets with pods, ARB Snorkel, RC 8 Gang switch panel, and bumper light bar installed.

The RC Switch panel is literally the same thing as the S-POD but hundreds of dollars cheaper. Lots of good reviews on it and super simple install.

 

Looks great. Jealous of the SCS

 

It’s happening…


Did some lighting stuff too. Not a fan of rock lights but, the girlfriend got them for me because she doesn’t know any better, so in an effort to not get cut off from fun stuff, I installed them. Also threw in the bumper light bar and roof rack light bar.

 

35’s going on this afternoon. Got the front fenders and flares trimmed and clearanced for the install. Pinch welds beat flat and lower fender attachments relocated about 1” aft. Plenty of room down there now.

 

What are these? Oh, just some little ol’ dirty fives. Plenty of room with the clearance trimming I did and the rear will be good to go when the rear bumper goes on. Can’t say enough good stuff about these Toyo RT’s. My last set lasted 60k miles and still had tread on them.
