3rd gen 97 won't turn over

I just disconnected my battery cables and reconnected in an attempt to reset an abs light and the truck won't turn over. HAs power but hazards flash and won't fire up.

 

I don't know you so please don't be offended but you didn't swap + for - right? Have you checked the fuses do you get clicking or anything when you try the key, lights dim at all?

 

Not offended at all. My skill is just above the cable mixup. I figured out it was an alarm kill switch I had to reset.
