Thinking of doing the same but can’t find the right lug nuts to replace the OEM chrome ones. What size did you use? Mind sharing a link?

actually i ended up not going this way. The cost was more than i wanted to put into this. I got this info from a gent who did do this and he sent me that info. He sent the wheel lock info too i can go back and find for ya.

i ended up not doing it because of the cost. Couldnt justify it. There are many cheaper alternatives out there BUT BEWARE - the quality is not even close to on par with the Toyota parts (hence why so much cheaper). Toyota has a PVD coating the others are either black oxide, painted or some other lesser coating. This means the knock offs will rust and scratch…

I opted to go the Busch League route of the Black vinyl cap plugs instead. Many will laugh that route off (rightfully so) but it worked for me…

ill go find you the locking lug part numbers and send shortly…

Thank you both for all the help! I’ll probably end up going this route. I’d hate for them to start rusting after only a couple of months…

Whilst subject is in play on lugs
Here’s a pic of my Busch League cap method vs Black lugs. Someday Ill step up and get real black lugs.

I got these after I came back from Moab with some damage. The diff looks good for now, if you nail your tire placement the diff is in a "safe" spot.

I was hitting every skid when I was in Moab, different trails I sappose, mash that crush washer on the trail and you’ll wish you had it

Installed the AVS bug deflector, mostly in hopes it will help deflect dirt/small rocks when my friends decide to pitch it sideways in front of me while off roading :burnrubber:. Fit was great, had to close the hood pretty firmly, but otherwise happy with it!

that looks like a solid skid. Keep it hosed out and clean though…I can imagine hidden rust. Especially since this is where you see a lot of 4runners rusted out.

I did have few scrapes down there that I painted before installing these. We don't see much rust here in Colorado but will keep an eye on it!

Yes, I have the low profile AVS guards on the windows, really like them, very (VERY) low profile, perfect fit, definitely recommend them!

Had these little 7" light bars sitting around and figured why not, fit pretty nice in the upper grill. Ordered the wrong switch though and have to wait for it. 20220119_125601.jpg
