Trying to disable the seat belt buzzer on my '18 4R. I've set the trip to ODO, turned it off, turned it back on, without starting, held the trip button for 10+ seconds, fastened the seat belt, released the trip button. Nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thx.

I’ve never heard of that method. As far as I know, programmer like Carista is what you need.

What's the reasoning behind disabling the seat belt buzzer, just curious?

^^ Understandable... was just another option is all. Some may not want to drop that kind of $$ for off-roading, camping and slow and short drives, then again it also is a great tool to have.

Carista. For $30 you get an OBDII interface dongle and a one month subscription to do all your customizations. With a free cellphone app. Then you can get another app to use the dongle as an OBDII scanner and real-time monitor.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I had the dealer turn my seat belt buzzer off. I think they charged me $30.

I use seat belts on pavement. Off pavement - no thanks.
