Lift to fit 295/70/17

    Hey there, so I have a 2 inch spacer lift on my 4Runner and am running 285/65/18. And I want to fit 295/70/17. Is there anyway I can just get a 1 inch body lift to make those tires fit? Need some help. Thanks

    RSG sliders, Yakima offgrid basket, Pro-Comp wheels, SOS Streamline bumper and skids, Warn VR EVO10S winch + Ultimate Sidewinder, Bilstein 6112 + 5100 + rear lift coils, Rigid Dually SS ditch lights w/Caliraised brackets and OEM style dash switch
    You're going to need to remove the front mudflaps, and possibly trim or adjust the plastic inner fender liner at minimum. You might need a BMC as well.

    I have BMC, front bumper cuts, modified (cut) fender liners, and the tire ripped one mudflap off when I turned and bottomed out the suspension on a trail run. I removed the mudflaps completely, and only rub slightly on occasion, probably on the firewall.

    A body lift will help some, but it won't help with the body mount.

    I don't think anyone is running 295's without a BMC. But, I'm sure someone will chime in if they are.

    What offset are your wheels?

    Tinted fronts, blacked out overlays.
    Don’t mean to threadjack but did you re-gear? Notice any significant loss in your MPG?

    @Thatbassguy as for the lift you got Bilstein6112 & 5160 right? 2.5in front + 2in rear? I forgot what uca you got. Spacer would drastically reduce the rear wheel articulation as the stock shock is not long enough right?

    2in spacer lift with stock uca would not clear 295s right? (even though op gets 1in body lift) And the offset of wheels would matter to clear the tires from rubbing right?

    No regear. It's definitely not fast! MPG depends heavily on speed. Have gotten almost 20 at 55-60 MPH, but as low as 11-12 at 80+ MPH. I usually average around 15.

    Yes, Bilstein. 2.3" front (according to the assembly instructions, never measured), and 1.5" rear (B12 coils). BDS UCA. They look similar to the Bilstein UCA's.

    I think stock VS aftermarket UCA is based more on lift height.

    For my 295/70/17 RG’s and -38mm wheels I did bumper cuts, removed flaps, bmc and trimmed around the end caps and caster set to ~4.5+. I also trimmed some metal ears around the rocker end caps.

    i still get a slight rub somewhere during full reverse lock backing out of drive way sometimes. I’ll look at it again when it’s warmer. But daily driving has no rubbing.
