I've seen lots of posts of people switching from the Limited front bumper to a TRD or SR5 type bumper. Has anyone done the reverse? I recently tore up my front bumper and need to replace it and was thinking about swapping from the SR5 to the Limited style. Any advice, parts list, etc would be much appreciated.

The limited has a bunch of fairings and skirts and other things which don’t go well with the SR5, off-road, and Pro body trims.

When you’re done, it will look like you have a huge overbite.

You have no idea how pathetic those 4Runner Limited and Lexus GX bumpers are. I don't have clearance even after 2.5in lift. Highly advice not to get Limited bumper.

But if you don't do any kind of off pavement driving those bumpers can theoretically help in MPG.

Interesting. I didn't realize that would be the case but makes sense. Glad I asked :)

Like what @LandCruiser said, you'll need the whole kit for the front bumper to match otherwise no matter what view you'll look at it from the front end will hang lower than the rest of the body.

Will look weird as the limited bumper hangs lower. You’ll also need rear bumper and side skirts to match. Not worth the hassle. Just replace with non-limited bumper
