It sure what they want, or if it still there, but this has been on their website for a month or so.

My salesman called today and said my SR5 should arrive on January 15th or 16th! I switched my deposit from a Tacoma to a 4Runner on December 18th so under a month for delivery isn't bad these days.

I ordered a 22 ORP Lunar Rock with KDSS on Dec 6. I was promised delivery at MSRP by early to mid Feb... just over 2 months of wait. While waiting, found a 19 ORP Silver with KDSS and just bought it and canceled my order. I saved some money buying used, and very happy with my purchase. I live in LA, CA and Longo Toyota doesn't mark up... tho I suspect like many dealers, when they deliver, they may try to add useless options at a premium.

Did you order your 22 ORP Lunar Rock from Longo and found your 19 ORP from them as well? How much did you pay for your 19 ORP?

Hmm my lunar rock off road premium is scheduled to leave processing 1/9. I wonder are all these 4Runners on the same ship at the same time? I’m in Mn and it is estimated to arrive at my dealership the week of 1/23.

Try to re-finance at your local credit union. I'm going to refi at University Credit Union at 1.99% at 60 months.

Penfed is also offering 1.99% at 60 months if you are looking for a good online lender. They are a credit union based out of the DC area.

I found my 19 ORP at Audi Oxnard. People there had no idea what KDSS was. Paid $42k. Really Clean car. I've been looking at models with KDSS in CarGuru (btw, shopping used with KDSS is a pain in the butt...no one lists and knows about it), and they were going for $44-46k with similar options and mileage... so, I just bought it. There's a black 2019 ORP w KDSS and low miles for sale at Marina Del Rey Toyota, but I think the price will drop. It's been listed at $48k since early December.

Maybe. I'm in LA, and they get shipped into here and Long Beach. A week by truck or train seem like it'll land right around end of Jan!

It was listed on the website when I posted, gone now.

honestly, I don’t think they are selling at MSRP.

Just heard from the salesman at the dealer I "ordered" through that my SR5 is scheduled to arrive at port 1/23, with delivery in February. I Ordered first week of November, so it will be over 3 months for me. My order included trade in of a 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport. So, MSRP with the usual caveat that while I got a great trade-in, who knows what the combination of prices actually yielded.

I was talking to my dealer today because he had given me an ETA of Jan 8 when he told me it shipped on Dec 14. I’m not sure how accurate the dates I’ve been given are though since while I was talking to him today he thought it was still at port in Portland when he realized it’s currently off rail awaiting truck transport from Minneapolis to Wisconsin.

I will say the Toyota app updated to show mileage and fuel on Jan 2 though, so I’m thinking that may be when it was moving to rail freight status. This has been a 4 month process for me with 2.5 months of that being me waiting for allocation.

Are you waiting on a Pro? I’m going on 3 weeks of waiting and this helps kind of giving me an idea of what the timeline may be. My salesman told me it would be about 4 months.

No, just an ORP. Mine could be taking longer because it’s a dealer in a smaller city.

At 4 months, they're still guessing. Has your dealer gotten the allocation? Has the truck been built?

I have an ORP where does the mileage show up in the app. I have noticed I have more available services than i did the first day at port.

On the main screen when you open the app just below the image of the vehicle. I believe you have to be subscribed to the services to see the odometer and fuel gauge.

Looks like you need to enable all the subscriptions to get the mileage and gas gauges. I just did it and it looks to be showing on the app now.

Weird, mine doesn't have the "distance to empty" gauge. Not that it matters, just weird that it's different. Otherwise it looks the same. I'd guess mine is at port but my dealer hasn't been great at communicating that.

Was lucky to find a new '22 in stock at Toyota of Irvine (CA). Dealer lifted it with an Icon Stage 3 lift, Icon wheels, M/T tires 285/70/17's, Pro Grill. Was able to get their cost on the lift/tires/wheels/grill (granted, their labor cost) and about a $2k markup, which in this market, in SoCal, was phenomenal in my opinion. It was the exact car I wanted (TRD ORP without KDSS in silver) and I would have done everything to it that they had already done (lift/wheels/tires). It was the first time I'd bought a car walking into the dealership blind (usually work the deal online with a fleet or internet sales manager) and it worked out. Big corporate AutoNation dealer, but they were very nice to work with. Felt VERY good about the deal given I have friends with acquaintances that have paid $20k over MSRP for common (not talking a GT3 911 here) cars in the past few months. This market is NUTS.

I started working with a local salesman in September and had my 4runner delivered just a couple days before new years so about 3.5 months for me; but I was pretty picky in the weird market we're in; had to be MSRP and I had to have a lunar rock ORP without a moonroof. In my area ORP without the moonroof is a pretty rare combination. In the end I think it was worth the wait!

I didn't have to wait, but if I had, it would have been for an ORP without the moonroof! Very rare, more rigid, and have had 15 + moonroofs and have never even opened the sliding sunscreen thing for any of them, let alone pressed the button to slide it back. Enjoy your new 4R!

I ordered mine in July, and eventually found one with a new dealer. I'd still be waiting for an allocation if I had patiently waited.

I considered it because that's what was available, but I decided I would just resent the truck itself every time I thought about it.
