This site panders to vendors and doesn't allow its actual users to post their valid thoughts and opinions.

BF KM2 dont howl in my opinion. I have 35'' on my DD and never notice. Have 265/75 on my 4Runner and noticed a howl...

I'd suggest finding a build with it on already so u know how much you need to trim. It be a 33" or 285/70 (32.8) I think.

Very nice. I think you will be very happy with them. Once you get them to a place were you can air them down and really get them to work you will see the investment you made.

    Hi all,

So I just put my Bilsteins 5100s at top thread (I think 2.2") and got 1.5 rear spacers. Do you know if 285/70/17 tires will rub at all? Any help will be appreciated

I'm on stock lift still, just put on 275/70/17 KO2's on the stock wheels. No rubbing and it looks aggressive. Once I get my 3" lift and wear out these tires I'll go 285's. 48ec2d98e88ee8d4224480f2cff6b9b8_3b360cadaceff1d1e4608482ed42e1fc25ec1b4c.jpg6eb41d31419258d3b571d3d4e1d7e453_8046738f76e86ff52a7b311704a98f85a3b81030.jpg

Those look great, and when you say no rubbing, I am guessing you haven't been off road with them yet, as I imagine as they tuck they would rub some. If not, then I'm super impressed and might have to do this for my 4runner. I'd pretty much decided to do 265/70/r17 thinking that should work on stock lift.

    Thoughts?

I haven't, but from what I read and researched, lots of guys did not have rubbing issues when off-roading with this set up. Guys with the TRD pro wheels did have issues due to a different offset I believe.

I have a newborn at home and dislocated my shoulder mtn biking on Monday so no off-roading in my near future otherwise I'd let you know how it goes!

    1. Ouch on the shoulder.
    2. Congrats on the munchkin.
    3. I'm pretty excited about the wheels then, they look stuffed in the wells and it looks great. I might take a chance and do these. Worst case is that I end up putting on a 2" lift to accommodate them if I have problems, which is on my short list anyways.

OP went and edited all of his posts sometime after they were posted, I was so confused at first too. I wish I could see the original, oh well it looks like he got mad and bailed

I think worst case is removing the front mud flaps but for sure a lift would fix it. I'm going toytec ultimate 3" lift hopefully in the near future

IMO the Toyo Tires are a good choice. Ask @SixthSnail I think he ran or still does run Toyos and has a pretty built rig, so he can comment to them.

I've run toyo ATIIs on my Tacoma, and MTs and RTs on my 4Runner. RTs are what I have now and I like them drastically more than ATIIs.
