Word on the street is that quicksand is only available for 2016 with 2017 having Cement, Barcelona Red Metalic and MGM for TRD Pros.

 

Nope, one of the last new 2016's left on a dealer's lot! Flying 1200+ miles to pick up, and road trip back to Houston.

You are correct Sir. Local dealer told me that the color for next year was indeed Cement Gray. Wasn't keen on waiting till Feb/Mar if I were to order one now.

 

That is fantastic. Make sure you are careful during the "break-in" Period. Fluctuate the speed, easy on the brakes and don't over stress the engine on inclines.

Had a buddy retrieve a vehicle and he raced it back home. Had a multitude of problems. You might want to consider shipping. Then"Grand-Ma" it once you are Home.

Bought a Hitch/Receiver lock that is keyed to the 4runner. No more searching for tiny keys and it looks pretty cool too. Red and black to go with the TRD theme.

All in all not the cheapest endeavor, but it flies great at freeway speeds, no worry of bending or fraying.

Not today, but this past weekend, I picked up my 2016 TRD Pro in Wisconsin and drove through 6 states back to Houston, TX.

Finally, the GOBI rack was delivered on Tuesday and was installed on Wednesday. The quality of this rack is fantastic. Now, on to the attachments.

 

MOAR PICTURES! I've been looking into one of those. Also, can you get a picture of the mounts? I've been curious about that.

 

Yes, Son has the car now, will take more photos soon. It's really cool and changes the entire look of the truck. It went together perfectly. The unit is strong and built extremely well. Ax and shovel mounts have been ordered.

 

Yeah, I had the oil changed 80ish miles (150ish total miles on the odometer) into my road trip and had the oil changed. Going to be changing it again (1500 miles) this weekend.

 

Led bar came in yesterday was waiting for my fog lights and here it is!!!!

So in love with how the truck is slowly coming along
