Connor aka 4Running Daily’s Build Thread

Personal info: I’m 17 first of all. I got my license on July 18th, 2012. I’m a pretty serious mountain biker. I live in Escondido, Ca. 4Running Daily is my username because it is my Daily Driver currently.

    My Runner:
History: Dad leased it new, and then bought it with the intentions on me driving it to high school (successful). He took it up Black Bear Pass in Colorado, all stock. It was stolen out of my garage and was found about 16 hours later full of Candy and a printer that wasn’t mine. I have woken up in the morning to it being covered in Toilet Paper 6 times now.

Gas Tank skid bought, and new Toyota Lower Ball joints.

Hoping to install the Upper Control Arms and Lower Ball joints the weekend after this upcoming one.

Also bought a 10 mm Spacer for the rear coil. I already have a driver side lean, and the gas tank skid will only make it worst.

And I think my throw-out bearing is on it's way out even though it's less then 6 months old. Have to check in to that.

Why are you needing a spacer on the super flexes? Am I missing something? It should not be leaning. Who did you go with for the gas tank skid. I would like to look them up man. I know Shane had one but it needed a little work to fit in there right. I talked to him about the move to. He seems excited about it. Hope you are enjoying the views if you know what I mean. I'm sure there are enough C's and D's to fill you day with.

I agree the Toytec coils should be taller on one side then the other, and they are. They just don't compensate quite enough.

We couldn't actually get Shane's to fit. So I'm in the process of buying it off him. I'll make it fit

I love the build because you, being only a year younger than me, have only done useful and tasteful mods. All these kids at my high school lift their jeeps, trucks, etc. to a useless amount. That or they lower their civics and cut the cats off... Not to mention you actually wheel yours. Keep it up!

It's funny because your two posts actually relate to each other. It's those guys wasting money on air intakes and drop bracket lifts that go to off roading spots and vandalize them, such as the spray paint you saw in the first post.
Thanks though! I've learned a lot building this thing up. I have another month and a half of high school and then I'll have time to really wheel this thing.
