    Hi All!

Relentless recently released their new, lower profile bumper for the 2014+ 4Runner. After seeing it, I was excited to get it on my rig, and thought I'd reach out to them to do a group buy. They have decided to do a limited run on them with special group buy pricing.

Here are the details of the bumper:

The bumper replaces the center piece of the front bumper along with the lower grill. There are 3 grill styles to choose from, Honeycomb, Oval, and Factory Style. They all are capable of coming in the "Illumination Series" (In the above photos), which is compatible with a 20" lightbar from either Rigid or Baja (Others are at your own risk). Grills are interchangeable so if you want to buy a lightbar compatible or different style down the line, that is doable.

    Grill Styles (Non Illumination Series):

    From Top to Bottom:
    Honeycomb,
    Oval,
    Factory Style,
    Actual Factory Grill (For Reference)

    Bumper Specs:

    - Fits SR5/Trail not confirmed with TRD pro skid plate. Will work with aftermarket skids.
    - 3/16" steel throughout
    -12 ga interchangeable grille inserts
    - Grille is integrated into the bumper
    - 3/4" steel recovery points
    - Stainless steel hardware
    - Includes support brackets to secure factory bumper ends
    - Offers more clearance than stock and the competition
    - Vertical winch fairlead mount which keeps fairlead tighter in and doesn't pinch winch line.
    - Access cutouts for winch freespool
    - 75 lbs.

Now for the part everybody is waiting for...

    Pricing:

Standard pricing is $799 powder coated black for the bumper and $739 bare steel. Bumper will come with your choice of grille insert (same price for Illumination/Non-Illumination).

Additional grilles can be purchased at $89 powder coated black or $69 bare.

If we get 10+ buyers it will be $75 off
If we get 20+ buyers it will be $125 off
If you buy a lightbar with it, (Rigid or Baja 20") you will receive an additional 50 dollars off
    (A Baja Designs 20" S8 bar w/harness is $599 before discount. A Rigid Radiance 20" bar w/harness is $319.98 before discount)

Max number available will be 30. Lead time will be 4-6 weeks. The sooner you sign up, the sooner it will be completed for you.

Goal closing date is 2 weeks from now so Sunday, September 25th. If the 30 slots fill up before then, the Group Buy will close early.

I am currently in Italy so I am on opposite time from most of you, but I will do my best to monitor this. I'll be back in the states on Wednesday night.

This will work by you submitting your name to me to be added to the list. On the day it closes, Relentless will send me a discount code that will then be PM'd to you. This Group Buy will also be posted on www.T4R.org so if you are on both, please let me know so I do not double count you.

I meant to update this yesterday with more pics!

First a couple links to the site for even more info.

Illumination Series: 2014+ 4Runner Stingray Illumination Series Lo-Pro Winch Bumper ? Relentless Off-Road Fabrication

    Standard Bumper: 2014+ 4Runner Stingray Lo-Pro Winch Bumper ? Relentless Off-Road Fabrication

    Now for pics.

    Before and After Clearance:

    StingrayBeforeandAfter_zpszd05mmv6_0999e0817df8751ed83e12ffaeab176af0ad85ea.jpg

As you can see, the bumper actually adds to your overall clearance up front as opposed to taking it away.

    Bumper Mounting:

    20160920_114025_zpsra1dlau9_7eb22b945c2efed628fd7a8ca6b0677541f1c97c.jpg

The thing is sturdy. I would not hesitate for a second before using it as a recover point. Just an all around well thought out product. You can also see the brackets for the remaining plastic so that it does not flop around in the wind after cutting.

    Random Pics:

I am really pleased with this product. Install is simple, just two cuts and remove the lower grille, then bolt it on. Average install time would be about an hour and one person can do it.

Alright enouph. Time for everyone to cool there jets. We all have opinions about everything under the sun and while some are valid and some are like we'll you know. Keep it civilized.

Update: after consideration and review we have cleaned this thread up because it's in the end about a group buy to help others out with 5th gens. At some point someone has put work into getting us as a community a good deal on a product and I'm not going to kill that for everyone else.

If anyone has a opinion they want to bring up about this product then post it up in the off topic area and have it out there with what ever sources opinion etc they may be. This is the main group buy for it, not a pissing contest. Have respect for the work that is done and if you don't like it don't buy it, if it is constructive criticism I'm sure that will not be an issue but getting into copy right etc etc is getting off base.

A good example is the 3rd gen bumpers from ODL. He'll so many look like there bumper but that's part of it. All my fishing reels look alike but there not. I'm sure we get the point.

Anyhow I hope this pics back up and we get a strong group discount for the members that choose to try it out and let see some in action.

    Blue

I have my 5th gen armor thread. Should I make a thread where we can all pick apart the things we don't like about each company's products? lol

And, FWIW, @Relentless has always been solid on our other forums to interact with. If you don't have anything that contributes to this in a positive manner- feel free to leave the thread or we can kindly show you the way out.

@Relentless has decided to go ahead with the group buy a bit differently due to the low turn out. Hopefully people don't miss out on the pricing!

Did they fix that gap between the bumper and skid plate or are we not allowed to mention that?
