29 weeks, 6 days….FINALLY!

Finally took delivery of the T4R I ordered March 11 a week ago. On the plus side, I didn’t have to wait as long as a Gobi roof rack so I’ll take it. It was a long wait but completely worth it. I absolutely love driving this thing. Thanks for all of the knowledge and encouragement along the way from everyone on here. I truly learned a lot. Here are a few things I’ve done to it in its first week:

1) Full interior LED upgrade and license plate
2) Westcott lift (big difference as far as less nose dive and body roll)
3) 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers
4) Opti-Coat Pro Plus ceramic coating
5) Misc (Weather tech cargo mat, MMI screen protector, console organizer)

Looks great! Congrats! Great to see your patience was rewarded! I felt most guilty when one fell in my lap in May and you did not know if and when you would get yours! Five months and 7,200 miles in and I am really pleased with it, and feel most fortunate to have it. No mods - pretty content with it in its stock state - so far! Enjoy!

As someone thinking about the westcott lift (since the eibach springs are evidently delayed until March), what is the height to the top of the rack now, if you do not mind measuring?

Sliders are next. Still not sure which ones I want. Possibly RSG? I don't mind the Predator steps(look-wise) but I find them completely nonfunctional as far as getting in and out. I literally have to try and find the step. But I don't hate them.

I just picked up my 4Runner Trail addition 2022 in Lunar Rock. I notice you have the same rack I do. Did you notice any issues with noise, like a window might be open in your car, when going above 50mph?

 

Hi, I do not have any wind noise at all at any speeds. I do believe your roof rack on the trail edition is a little different, unless they custom added a Pro rack? But no noises.

Others are having the same issue as I am. I am getting used to it but it seems to be an issue. I will do my research but to be honest, I am definitely past it and it seems to drive even better than my SR5 did.

What a great design this is though. I am on my 7th Runner and it just gets better. It still has a flaw that hasn't been dealt with but like everything in this world it can't be perfect.

I always had leather...never again. Those fabric seats are a gem.

The design, the color, the 4runner.

A masterpiece.

And to add ever so slightly...I am getting thumbs up on the highway from other 4runner owners...
