Hey - Looks very good! Stock tires size? And, can you confirm what you have done for lift?

    Thanks!

They are amazing in the dirt.

    Looks GREAT BUD !!

I found some 285/70/17 M/T- for a great price - want to mount them up on my wife’s 16’ T4R -with the same factory wheels you have , but afraid of rubbing issues - UCA / bumper / body mounts etc
Was going to install a CORNFED 2-1 lift for clearance

    Are you on stock suspension??
    Have any rubbing issues ??

    THX in advance

Same Bfg KO 2 - C rated 285/70/17. But using stock TRD Offroad wheel with no wheel spacers. My buddy also running Bfg KO 2 - C rated 285/70/17 on stock SR5 wheels.
    20200229_155037-3.jpg

My Limited also use TRD Offroad wheel wrapped with Falken Wildpeak 285/70/17 Standard Load.

this is the setup I want to run as well. Those Toyos are the lightest 285’s you can get. And they look pretty good on the stock TRD wheels!

I added 285s about as cheaply as possible. Daystar 2/1 lift, very minor trimming on the front bumper and the mud guards, no body mount mods and no rubbing on some fairly difficult Jeep trails in Arizona. Ironically, I was leaving work the other day and backing out of a parking spot and I heard rubbing. Never happened before.

If I installed a true suspension lift with more articulation, then I would likely have to do much more trimming. The advantage of the Daystar lift is that it retains factory ride and most get lucky enough to not have to use UCAs to get alignment back into spec. But, it does not improve suspension performance in any way. For my moderate off-roading and daily commuting, the set-up is just fine.

    Trimming and clearance...

Thanks mate! Yeah, the Toyo's are EXTREMELY quiet, to my surprise, for E rating. I had a concern, but kinda went ahead with it, that I would be sounding like some of those Jeeps, where you hear them coming with the road noise. I definitely recommend it. I run the tyres at 36psi.

    Cheers,

    Sean
