You can add Grappone Toyota in Bow, NH to the MSRP list. They sold me a new '21 Venture September 8th for MSRP +$569 doc fee. I admit the doc fee is a bit high but I'm not complaining. Great people to deal with at that dealership.

My family and I have been buying from Grappone since since 1988 (showing my age here!)

Please add to the MSRP dealer list the following one:

Riverside Toyota in Rome, GA. https://www.riversidetoyota.com/

I had ordered a TRD PRO with 1,000 down and roughly 2.5 months later (which was late August) it arrived. Paid MSRP. Great experience, highly recommend the dealership, ask for Greg from sales.

You have a Riverside Toyota to the list of shame (Edit - that is in CA list of shame - just saw it), I would think there is another dealer from another location, not the one in Rome, GA.

It is utterly nuts here. For yuks and giggles I searched for Ventures on Autotrader and most of the ones listed are a full $10000 over MSRP.

After my ORP got crushed with only 600 miles, I added gap insurance owing to the current market madness. Considering the woman who hit me blew through red light and there are both witnesses (CalTrans employee at that) and video, I probably should have gotten beyond MSRP considering KDSS ORP’s are not exactly easy to find.

Still beyond grateful that I was able to get into the Venture for MSRP.
While CA is nuts, it does seem like the Midwest dealers are not adding “market adjustments”.

There's a dealer in my state selling a used '21 Venture with 7,700 miles for $3,000 more than I just paid for a brand new one last week.

As far as dealer add-ons, expect to see a lot more of that going forward. All dealers, even those currently at MSRP I suspect, will need to adjust to having even lower inventory than the already low inventory they have now. I think market adjustments and/or add-ons will become the norm for a while until we're past the supply chain issues plaguing the industry. Buckle up...

I just bought a 2022 TRD ORP at MSRP from Tony Divino Toyota in Riverdale (near Ogden) Utah. At least two other dealers in the Salt Lake area are marking up: Performance Toyota in Bountiful and Brent Brown Toyota in Orem.

Mine is expected to arrive in about two weeks. Divino does have a few SR5s and a few Limiteds, but no other TRD ORP or Pros.

Family Toyota has 2 DFW locations... burleson and arlington. they're getting a army green ORP next week. every car they sell is at MSRP. small little kicker is they add on the protection package that cost 1050 or 1500 i forgot. it includes door ding fixes, and 3 other things i cant remember. still not bad. i would def hit them up if ur in the DFW area looking for a 22.

You can add Camelback Toyota in Phoenix to the MSRP list at least for a 2022 TRD ORP. Talked to them this afternoon and they were sure to emphasize that they were not adding any market adjustment type fees. Unfortunately, I live in Texas and I am looking to buy from outside of Gulf States territory to get one with KDSS, and Camelback will not “Pre sell” a vehicle that isn’t on their lot, and they won’t take a deposit to hold one. Buying from them won’t work for me.

Trying to find a 22 ORP in MGM in So Cal without the Market adjustment has been frustrating to say the least.

Here's some to add to the shit list

Penske Toyota of Downey +12k on an ORP

Toyota of Orange, CA - Market Adjustment on ALL vehicles

Holy Crap. +12k - for a 22' ORP ?? Sounds like it's worse on the West Cost than elsewhere. But no one's discounting anywhere.
I have a 21' ORP/MR in MGM that I purchased the second week of March and took delivery in early May. Negotiated an $1,800.00 discount off MSRP. But, that moment in March was probably literally a week or two before the crazy pricing started. So, I consider myself very lucky.

This does indeed present a dilemma for potential 22' buyers. Especially buyers that want what is likely the last of the 5th Generation with the old school drive train. With the probable, continued chip and raw material shortage through 2022, there will likely be less inventory throughout next year. This will keep prices high through all/most of 2022. So, does one bite the bullet and order a 22' at a ridiculous surcharge, and get what you want ? Or wait for things to change in 2023 and get a 6th Generation that may turn out less satisfying ? Not a good choice either way. Wish you luck.

I won’t pay a dime over MSRP, unless my trade in reflects the surcharge in its value. Right now, I figure MSRP equals the extra few grand my trade is worth now, so it’s a wash. Basically, it’s the cash out of my pocket that I’m paying attention to.

I paid $2,000 above MSRP for a 21 LR Pro in May - which was pretty fair considering the times, but I got $14,000 for my trade in (2016 Subaru Crosstrek with 92,000 miles) that I was hoping and expecting to receive around $10,000. The higher trade in also reduces the final sale price and taxes paid!

exactly, my 5 year old tacoma was around 31k trade value last I checked. I paid about 34k (invoice) new, so that offsets the mark up to MSRP. The tax off set is what is keeping me from searching out of state. paying taxes on 20k, is very different then taxes on 50k plus.

Just bought a 21 TRD Off Road from Teton Toyota in Idaho Falls. Paid MSRP and talked to the sales guy about the markups we've been seeing and he agreed its absurd.

My best friend is a broker and is currently helping me find a rig (SR5 Prem) for the last two months. Every major dealership that he usually partners with in LA and Inland Empire has markup now, which both historically has not done that. The two he partners with are Longo and John Elway.

You can update Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA as no longer an MSRP dealership. Inquired about an SR5 Premium and stated it would 5K markup.

Add these dealerships to the CA Shame List:
John Elway Toyota, Ontario CA, 7K markup for SR5 Prem
Toyota Of Claremont, Claremont CA, 10K markup for SR5 Prem
Toyota of South Coast, Irvine CA, 10k markup for SR5 Prem

I hope that's not true about Longo. They were my last hope in So Cal. They still advertise online that they do not sell over MSRP

AutoNation in Tempe, AZ now has a 5K mark up on TRD Pros.... but only on Pros. Apparently they are into selective financial discrimination. No mark up on other 4Runner trims.

For the SR5 Prem, they wanted that markup price but I am sure if we play ball with them, they would mark down to MSRP. The other difficult thing about Longo is that their inventory disappears the moment it hits the lot. I am on their waitlist but I don’t know how far down the line I am. If I had to guess maybe 3 months.
