Anyone know a minimalist front bumper light mount?

Don't want to do the entire front bumper. Want to retain the stock look as much as possible but would like to mount some lights up front. Nfab looks good, but its behind the grille which I do not want. Any recommendations are appreciated.

 

I have a KC Hilites behind the grill. Does a nice job.

 

I actually have the NFab behind the grille light mount set up with 2 Baja Design Amber LP6 lights. The NFab mount has some different options of where you want to put your light set. You can either set up light pods or a light bar. I also decided to cut the bottom part of my mesh grille where the LP6 lights are located. Didn't want the mesh grille to effect the output of the LP6 lights. I actually like the behind the grille set up.

 

Rago Fabrication makes some nice mounts. I know you didn't want behind the grill, but I used them on my 2021.

I haven’t done this, yet, but thought I’d share regardless. I stumbled across it a while back and have saved it as a “someday I’ll do that” upgrade. I really dig the KC old-school look.

I like my Caliraised behind the grill light bar:

 

Here is my KC 20" bar and their own mount kit. When installing I zip tied the light in front of the grille before installing and noticed no appreciable loss by placing the bar behind the grille. It is wired to a factory style switch in the cluster left of the steering wheel. The output from this little bar is impressive, not up to the larger bars but with headlights/fogs/light bar, it is more then I need for trails in the woods at night.

 

In front of grill=more chance of theft n also would probably look like something was just protruding out(not stock)

but what do I know? I have 7 lights to install on my rack on a “day off”

Anyone running one of them Bluetooth controllers? Makes it so you don't have to run the cables into the cab for a switch.

 

Does that mount give you vertical adjustments? I was thinking of doing the same with LP6/9's. Curious, did you try the lamps with the total grill in place?

 

@SunnyTRD Yes the mount does. It comes with some extra hardware for you to mount the lights how you want. That is why I went with the NFab mount over the Rago. Yes, I tried the lights with the mesh grille and it messes with the output just a lil. I decided to cut the mesh grille where my lights are to get 100% output. I actually saw a couple other Runners with my same set up and loved the look. I have the LP6 lights, I would recommend those or the LP4s for behind the grille. The LP9's might be sitting too high if you mount them.

 

@wolfman I am running the SPOD BantamX Touchscreen. Bluetooth compatible as well. I can turn on my lights from the app on my phone which is awesome. Highly recommend it.

 

Here is what I'm thinking although wonder about airflow. Have you had any issues?

 

Like that set up a lot. Saw someone on Instagram running that same set up and it looked great! I don’t have any issues with airflow. Would have done this same set up myself, but thinking about purchasing a bumper soon.
