So my lift was installed this morning by a professional shop in my area. Bilstein 5100 with factory coils set to 1.75 in the front and eibach 1 inch rear coils. Based on all the research I was doing that sounded like it should put me at a pretty good spot with a touch of factory rake but it has left me with all but more rake than I had from the factory. I got well beyond an inch of lift out of these coils. So my question is will they settle? I spoke to guys at eibach just a little bit ago they said their coils are made not to settle so what the heck's going on. It's not an installation problem I trust the guys at the shop. I've known them forever the mechanics there have been working on jeeps and Toyotas for as long as anybody else and they're meticulous about their work. Also when I spoke to the guys at eibach they're telling me they're 1 inch rear coils are meant to be used with 2.75 inches of lift in the front which makes no sense to me could it be that I got the one lone idiot at eibach on the phone?

I know this is not apple’s to apple’s, but this is Kings with 2 1/2” in the front and 2” OME springs in the rear. Would it be ok with you to just raise the fronts a bit, or is that not open to you?

1.75 in the front only erases all of the rake. Their pro kit does the same 2.75-1=1.75. I used the Eibach 4th gen rear spring and got a little less than 3/4”. I have just their shock up front at 1.75.

Stock SR5 and OffRoads are roughly 1.75" higher in the back than the front at their stock height.

So by adding a 1.75" front lift and 1" rear lift, you should be sitting about 1" higher in the back now.

You're a little bit off that, but not by a ton.

Did they re-use your stock coils up front or replace them with a different lift coil?

Also, you have some drivers side lean going on (common problem)......so that complicates the lift numbers a little.

If stock 4Rs have 1.75" rake factory, it seems you have less than that now...I don't see the issue, unless you are wanting to be level.

Did you consider a 3/4 - 1" spring spacer in the back instead of a spring lift? Those would guarantee the amount of rear lift.

Didn't want to use stock rear springs do to sagging under load. I was hoping for a little less rake but maybe they will settle a but?

Eibach springs aren't known to settle much.

You're right around where you should be to be honest but its hard to tell since you don't have before measurements.

When I said 4Runners have roughly 1.75" of factory rake, that is an average. Some are more, some less. It can vary due to things like how much gas you have in your tank when you measure, peoples measuring skills (or lack there of sometimes), not being on perfectly level ground when measuring, ect.....

Here are a couple of stock height measurements for you to compare:

    https://www.4runners.com/threads/stock-height-question.13624/

Add 1.75" to the front and 1" to the back of these and you can see that your lift height numbers are right in the ballpark.

So the vehicle sat overnight and I actually put it up on my ramps as if I was changing the oil to flex the rear suspension a bit. I'm going to remeasure today now that I have daylight and try and get a little more exact numbers I don't think it was very far off but going to see what I come up with.

Do you have any photos of your truck from the side now that it's lifted?

Not yet I'm hoping to get somewhere flat today that I can get some good pictures. I tried to take a few last evening but the lighting was terrible and my garage is too small to take any in there

If it’s too high for you try the shorter Eibach rear spring.

It’s technically the 1” spring for the 2003-2009 4th gen. Spring rate is the same. It’s just 1/4” shorter.

Just some thoughts…I’d say that the measurement error doing the same reading twice in a row, is easily 1/8th of an inch. Also, the measurement itself is going to change a bit, as mentioned, based on fuel load, stuff in the back, what the springs ate for breakfast, and their last BM.

Looks like you have 1.5 inches of rake measure using the wheel well arches. Keep in mind that the frame itself has less rake . Honestly I wouldnt sweat it. Once you load up the rear with your EDC tools, it will come down more. If you load it up for a trip, it will go flat at the arches (and probably reverse rake if referencing from the frame). If it were me, Id leave it. It probably looks great anyway!

Bilstein B12 rear springs are perfect for this application. 0.5 - 0.75" lift.
