    Hi all,
Just a quick question, what’s the wattage on the stock radio of a 2010 SR5? It’s a non jbl car. I was looking to upgrade the speakers in it but I’m keeping the stock unit. Also, any speaker recommendations are welcome.

For the wattage...the stock speakers are cardboard...just go ahead and throw those out. I replaced mine with plug and play Kicker's. Check out www.crutchfield.com, enter your vehicle, and they will lead you to appropriate fit speakers. Note, some may still need custom fitting. The sites tech's are knowledgeable enough to assist you further. I spent about $200, and it was a noticeable upgrade, and easy enough to do yourself. good luck.

I had the same question (I'm looking at speakers right now as a matter of fact) too. I'm leaning towards the Kenwood KFC-XP6902C for the front doors & dash and the Kenwood KFC-X174 speakers for the rear doors. I want a subwoofer too but that's further down the rabbit hole than I can afford currently. If I do, it'll almost certainly be a JL Audio 10" sub in some sort of enclosure. I like their stealthbox but dang they're expensive!
