Short time lurker member of another T4R Forum since 4 4Runners ago. Like you I am a T4R enthusiast!

Looking for anyone that has had great experience with GOOD HID's- I know XenonDepot dominates this and the other Forums for HID's but seem a little pricey (given the technology is older all things considered) Including the rise of LED headlights now, I am looking for a good quality HID Kit that's reasonably priced. 100.00 or less.

Anyway- I thank you ahead of time and I am open to any help I can offer or any questions you might have. Happy to help!

Thanks, it was a hard pill to swallow- that expensive pro-piece of plastic. I love the look it adds though. More heads turn vs. before without it. Not that that's the effect I was looking for...but hey.

You won't regret it. She will appreciate it. My kids do. Fiance isn't short but someone will always appreciate it. Buddy of mine found some n-Fab look alikes for cheaper than the actual n-Fabs if that's what is holding you up.

I've been wanting to do it but I keep buying camera stuff

I was just trying to pick the right style I liked and so far these are leading I think.

So- I have had some people say. "Those steps are awesome" Some that say " Meh- it'd look better without those steps". It ultimately comes down to functionality and appearance both do it for me. I guess if I do end up changing I may go with a form of sliders. Something that is a little lower profile which can be used as steps.

agreed, if it was totally up to me I would go with sliders, however since we split time driving this during the week with her corolla I want something she's happy with. I had a long time ago a great big lifted Chebby truck that she could hardly get into and that caused some friction over time. I want the 4Runner to be something she enjoys riding in so steps it is!

The nfab nerf bars look great and are functional. The wife still likes them even though her leg got scraped one time.

True honest opinion, and it's more of a gripe, I only wished they didn't fade nothing too horrible they just have this grayish hue to them now after this Colorado suns' had its way with them.

    Maybe it's just mine?:rain:

Too early to tell for me. I'll probably use bedliner type paint on mine if I that happens.

As far as HID's go. I don't think theretrofitsource.com can be beat for quality, service, and pricing.

I have some in my headlights.

I had them on my Tacoma for a while. They are fine as long as you don't off road too much. They limit your clearance off road.
One option is running board style sliders like me. I split time driving so I went with these from @Relentless
They are functional as steps. Nothing more. They will not protect like sliders will. They will cause more damage that way.
    Mine did that too.
I linexed my sliders and it is holding up great!

Nice ride! I like that black and white flag & TRD decal. Are they two separate decals or? Where'd you find them? I saw some on eBay a while back but couldn't pull the trigger just yet.

Thanks. I got them from @cboy808 on TW. He is a cool guy and will cut you any vinyl sticker you want. All the stickers on my window are from him.
