Installed some Rago Molle goodness - one step closer to stealth & light overland camping. Waiting on the cross shelf.

Very Nice; Purchased the Husky Floor mats myself back in 2017 for my 2016 4RTP and just wished I purchased this mat as well … still using the supplied OEM mat dealership through in on my deal. Anyway thanks for posting because for $78 it looks like a great mat … Also that’s a great idea to string a bungee cord between the existing floor cargo tie downs to assist holding in place!

Still trying to find a shop that'll do the BMC. Getting really tired of places telling me they'll do the job, but, when I show up they suddenly won't. Latest place had the gall to tell me that I never told them I needed it done when that was the entire point of the appointment! :annoyed: At this point I think I'll just buy an angle grinder and do the Goddamn job myself in my driveway.

Pictured are "Trunk Eez" brand that I've had forever. I bought mine at a "The Container Store" (T.C.S) in Houston ages back.

There is a similar brand on Amazon but I'd never pay this much for them! Not worth $30.
    https://www.amazon.com/Unisys-Trunk...67?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=KSMQCD4PB6RD60WCPCCQ

I seem to recall they were around $15 (set of 3) at T.C.S. I'm going there soon for more cargo bins, so I'll see if they still carry them and let you know.

Welp turns out i was able to sneak in a 2-fer today.
JUST finished installing door cup paint protection film. I’ve watched probably 60 videos on this paint protection film as im thinking of doing my front end. Figured a little trial run using the cup liners would be a good way to start since not expensive so if I jacked it up NBD.

So that actually did not go bad at all. Essentially just like the videos i watched. Not dancin in the streets yet and gonna run out and wrap the front. Wait and see if these damn thins fall off after a week or so and a washin or two before i go further.

if it stays that’ll be swell since i i have a wife and two daughters. Ive seen what my daughters nails did to the cups on her black RX300. OMFG. The horror of it

im definitely gonna do a ceramic coating. Ive researched the snot outta that. The decon, clay bar process and paint correction where needed which hope not terrible since shes new. Going to save that for a full day of just me time as i expect it’ll be takin some time…

Did you take rails off? I'm considering painting my silver ones black while still on the vehicle. Mask car completely with tarps...dunno still pondering.

while I know you’re not asking me, one option that I went with was vinyl wrap. Local guy did my side rails for $100 without removing them. He did a great job and I can still position the cross rails wherever needed.

before I upgraded to a new rack.. I took off the rails and plasti dip about 4 coats.. took about 1.5 hours installed rails back and let it sit in the drive way that day.. really easy..

IMO, I do suggest taking them off to get underneath side rails.. save time as well instead of masking the 4R..

    good luck..

Same here. I’d like the folding mirrors for when I don’t have a passenger on trails. Good that’s assuming you can fold them in while in motion.

I can't get over just how quiet they are on the road! When I had them on my old yota pickup, there was a lot of road noise, but in that truck, you could hear the dude in the car next to you farting. I'm hoping to give them a solid off road test here in a few weeks. :)

as for me, I spent the better part of monday afternoon/evening and tuesday installing the OEM Audio + system in my 4 runner. Overall the install wasn't bad. Running the wiring was a pain in the ass at times. especially trying to run the loom up to the head unit and then running the connection to the sub. Death by a million cuts haha. But I'm loving the OEM look, the sound is night and day better, there's actual clarity to the sound coming out of the speakers vs the crap that was coming out of the paper thin stock speakers. Oh and getting the door panels back on was fun and I was struggling mightily to get the top of the panel to latch back in. After 45+ minutes of struggling, watching youtube videos, calling into O+ asking if they had any tips (they did not, but were so helpful in the install process regardless). I realized that the channel that goes on the top of the door (for the seal on the window) can be removed from the door panel. So once you do that, place that channel back on the door, then the door panel easily clicks back into place. Oh and while I was at it. installed the LED interior lights that have been sitting in my garage for 2 months.

Hardest part of the install for me was fishing the wire through the rubber door wire cover, otherwise straight fwd.

At night the difference is ridiculous.

Now if only I can find someone that knows if there is a 5.5thgen fog feed in the cabin I can tap for anytime fogs. The old ant man standard is only good for early 5th gen and not 5.5.
