222k mile 2003 with 4.7 4wd for sale for $3750. Is it worth it?

I’m looking for a new project and found this 4th gen for $3750. It’s only had two owners no accidents and has ok maintenances records. Frame isn’t perfect but isn’t bad. Has exhaust manifold leak according to listing. Interior is rough, but that can be fixed. Is it worth a buy or should I just pay a little more for a cleaner one?

I personally wouldn't touch one that needs a new frame. Exhaust manifold leak wouldn't scare me away though. Known issue on the V8s.

 

That ad has pictures of 3 different vehicles, what the hell. The wheels are different on two of them and the third is a whole different color.

 

Yeah I didn’t really notice that. The 2nd and 5th picture aren’t of the actual car I think and the others are.

 

I wouldn't mess with the 2nd one.

The first one doesn't sound bad.

My '03 V8 had 257K when I traded it in and still idled like a brand new car. The 4.7 is a fantastic motor! The cracked exhaust manifolds are typical as @spencermarkd mentioned. I would take a good test drive and look it over thoroughly.
