    What is the biggest tire size someone has been able to clear on a 5th gen 4Runner with the 20 inch wheels?

    Wheel size doesn't really matter too much since it is the full size of the tire that matters. You could squeeze a 33" tire if you do some cutting. I'd recommend a lift though.

    Thanks for the reply, the 20 wheel reference was mainly about width. With it only being 7 inches wide. Just trying to stay away from that balloon look. So prob go with a 32" in that case. Wifes not going to be happy about cutting her her baby. Once, again thanks for the reply.

    No problem. All the cutting you would have to do would be internal. Like the cab mount. You won't notice it from the outside. I get not wanting to cut though!
