The '21 LED's are light years better than the stock halogens. Aimed correctly and they are very nice. I have a set wired for the pre 21's if anyone is interested since I sold my 4R. They are plug n play with earlier 4R's.

What was involved in the wiring?

Is the dark spot visible in your photo?

Great test. Thanks. Arranged photos side-by-side for easier comparison.

No idea. They were wired by a company in Colorado that takes them off to install Morimoto's.

No, I'll try to grab photos tonight. each headlight has a dark spot, almost like a paper hole puncher was used then the drivers side tapers down for traffic and thats great but its uneven. I only noticed that when the road dips (happens often) or in dark parking lots. Normal driving once you look past that, the lights are great

I was asking $1000 since I paid more than that for them. Shipping them is crazy expensive. $125-175 depending on the distance.

Yeah they're not cheap, and the wiring helps a bunch. GLWS

I must be the only guy who has the LASFIT 9005s as I don't see any mention of them. Bought them two years ago shortly after vehicle purchase. They seem to be okay - much brighter than the OEMs and 4 of them ran about $70 on Amazon...

Are there any companies that sell the new 21 OEM led headlights wired for 14-20 4Runners? So that it’s an easy install?

Any wire harness for 2021+ bi-led headlight users to power the halogen bulb in the reflector for highbeam and still have the DRL function?
Also when running DRLs it won't power the highbeam shutter?

I would think a jumper cable with a diode would solve that issue. Maybe add an inline diode for the DRL wire as well

Diode will not work it should be relays if loe beams are on then give highbeam power when highbeam shutter is triggered. If low beam is off then enable DRL current.

Right now this is working with a separate switch. Like to have a full wire harness so I just could use the factory head light switch.

I believe FBC makes a similar harness for the ‘14-‘20. Could just ask them to make one for you. I think they’d have to swap the female H11 connector for the new multi pin connector and swap where high beam power is coming from and going to

I think the mleds are the brightest and have the best cutoff but you need to open up the lens
