Yeah, I have one reserved for 5k above msrp here on long island. Was willing to travel to save a thousand or so only. Thank you though.

They got a ton of PROs for some reason. I'd ask for them to put you down for one. They will get one you want for sure. Refundable deposits as well.

I might. They were 4k over msrp so there is that. I probably could talk them down a bit but if it means resetting and waiting longer than the one I already have reserved locally, I'm not sure it's worth saving a small amount of money but we shall see.

Get on more than one wait list. Pay the small refundable deposit and buy from whoever gets you one first. Simple.

Officially got word that my order was rejected and that I wouldn't be getting mine for 2021.

Anyone knowledgeable of the TX dealerships for Toyota? I'm in Houston.

Joe Myers was quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had in any store when I went in.

Wouldn't mind paying a bit over sticker if it means I can get it right now.

Keep an eye on Toyota of Plano. Generally pleasant to deal with and have been charging msrp. They have a LR pop up from time to time.

Gave them a call and they said they're just not doing LR 2021 anymore at all. They're just done which is what I've been hearing from other dealerships as well.

Here's to hoping I can maybe get a LR in at least another trim for 2022...

Otherwise I might just have to wait another year for the 2023 (possible) redesign.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get it. If it’s the color you are after, apparently LR is being offered in 4 different trims for 2022. Just not the Pro.

ToyotaJeff has a new video on youtube saying that it'll be the Trail, TRD OR, TRD ORP, TRD Sport I believe.

It's hilarious to read these threads from 2 years ago when dealerships had no new inventory and were trying to outbid each other to get used 4Rs for $5k - $10k over book value, then gouge buyers. We all knew it would come back to earth one day. Except for new 4R pricing. It just keeps climbing.

I think purchasing "early" in 2021 made a difference. I made a deal on my 21' ORP/MR about mid-March on for an incoming 4R that just left the Port in Japan the day before. By early May, when I took delivery, the crazy pricing had already begun. I paid $1,800 off MSRP. But if I had waited just 1-2 more weeks after March, I would probably had to pay at least MSRP. So it turned out to be a good 11th hour deal it seems.
At the time, with less than 600 miles on her, some stranger at the grocery store parking lot came up to me and offered to buy my 4R for what I paid, including sales tax, plus $2,000.00. LOL
It seems that if you bought sometime before the end of March in 21' you could still make a better deal. After that, the pricing went nuts.
