I have a 2016 trail amd want to do a lift with wheel upgrades. But i am starting slowly and i want to get the TRD pro rims for 4runner. They are both 17in and assuming the same width, would the Dunlop ATO that are stock on the trail, would they fit on the TRD pro rims? I want to use oem tires until i get the lift.

IMO, no more than about 1.5 to 2" before the stock size tires start looking way too small.

Okay thanks, i would not do a lift until i got the stock tires on a tundra trdor for the 4runner becuase they are good street ires and can handle mud and sand, which i think is a bit bigger but not hudge, so if i stuck a 1.5- 2 inch i should be good and give the 4runner the ground clearance it lacks, i want to have as much clreance as a tundra if not more.
