Picking up a 2021 ORP this Friday. Anyone have experience with the stock 2021 ORP tires for... off-road use (forest roads and mud, not Moab). Any recommendations? Thanks much... I'm so stoked (after 1 year researching!).

I like Bf Goodrich KO2's they are good for daily driving and all other terrain, i suppose you don't want to go with a full mud-terrain tire? Congratulations with the new rig.

The part about 'stock tires' and forest roads and mud don't necessarily mean you can't go there, it just means you're going to have to have very good judgement on the depth, distance and obstacles you face. Determine where you drive the most, do some research to determine what tire may be best for your situation. You're doing some research now by asking on the forum. Enjoy that new 4Runner!

First off, Congrats on the new rig. You will really enjoy it. What color did you order ?

My 2021 ORP just turned 3,600 miles. Still running the stock Dunlap's, which I have found to be a good all-season radial. They are smooth and quiet on the highway and seem to give good traction in rain.

But I will be trading the Dunlap's in for a set of those BFG KO2's AT tires before winter for the same reasons Roland mentions above. I was on my third set with my 2010 FJ Crusier before I traded it in. It's not only a great all-purpose tire, it gets good mileage and also looks good. LOL

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
The day I bought it, I drove my T4R from the dealer to Discount Tire and had stock size Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires put on.
