    Hey everyone.

Hate to post this but I searched and could come away with a straight answer.

I want to do a 3" lift on my 2015 SR5 4Runner. Nothing fancy, just hoping to raise it some to put bigger tires. I have rims and tires but wish I would've gone with bigger tires.
I called a local shop here in Katy,TX and they want to charge me about $750 bucks for some spacers. Seemed like a lot so, I looked it up and they are fairly easy to do myself and I figured it would give me a chance to get to know my 4Runner a bit (I am mechanically inclined).

I searched and couldn't find one that said "This will fit your truck" So I called Toyotec but the guy said I could only use a spring and spacer kit. I agree that it's a better option then just the spacers but springs require a spring compressor which I don't have and it puts me back at square one.

So I'm looking for a leveling /spacer kit for a 2015 SR5 4runner (without that shock hydraulic thing) Any help?

I am having the same problem but I have a 2016 sr5. The local shop I went to here in town said that pro comp has one they sell but I couldn't find it on line. But the guy at the shop said if he installs the 3in spacers a differential drop had to be installed as well. I don't know if it's true or not. He said he was going to charge me 780 to do all of it.

Do your research......call around to some of the recommended vendors (ie. Downsouth Motorsports, Wheelers Offroad). Local shops usually carry the stuff you don't want. Go to Tacoma World look for mod days with groups in your area, I'm sure if you pitch in they will help with whatever you need installed, at least this is what my plan is when I order my suspension items. Make sure you get the type of lift you want/need; if you just want to raise it for tires or do you want to lift it to offroad. Like I have read over and over....."Buy Once, Cry Once".

That's essentially what I have, though mine is the Toytec 2.5 lift, not 3.0". You do have to remove the struts and compress them and install the spacer above them. At 2.5" I didn't need a diff drop or UCAs. 3" is probably right about the point where you will, which then turns a $250 project into a RFE project (really fucking expensive).

I'm satisfied with the 2.5" and it fits 285s no problem:

Thanks for the info. Nice pic man!

When you say compress the struts your not talking about a spring compressor are you? I'd like to do this project myself.

Well you have to remove the struts and coils to put the spacer on top, so you need some sort of tool to compress the coil spring. I meant 'coil' not 'struts' in my above post. I had a shop do it because I don't even want to deal with that, but I've seen people say you can use a 'loan-a-tool' from Auto Zone, or some kind of jerry-rigged contraption to do it yourself.

As discussed in PMs it is the 2.5 front / 1.5 rear Toytec kit.

I'm in the same boat as you guys however I didn't want to use the spacers because I don't want extra strain on the shocks. Instead, I'm thinking about paying a bit more and getting these Toytec coils. Any reviews from these?
