    Been looking for a long time for a 4R... Finally saw this one that was recently added to CL. Was very clean... hardly any rust at all on the under carriage. Looks really great but the TB and WP havent been replaced yet. What price you think I could and should grab this for?

    Please educate a new 4R owner, what is TB and WP. Guessing timing belt and water pump. LOL

    I plan on starting at 7500 and going from there... Im also complementing buying a 2011-2012 at the dealership.

    I'd say if you can get it for 7500 that's not a bad price because it's going to need 1-2k in work for the belt and pump. Otherwise looks pretty clean.

    edit: Make sure the actuator goes into 4lo and that the center diff locks.

    I'd be surprised if the TB wasn't addressed at that kind of milage and the stated maintenance. Run the VIN on Toyotas website and see what comes up. Check the 4WD. Make sure it 4H and 4L work with no issues and the center diff lock engages. Looks like a solid find.
