i dont believe this for a minute. This must be your driver information center. so you get 16.9, which i believe.

I don't pay attention to our lie-o-meters but can't resist the chance to hit reset after getting gas in the mountains and coasting down for mile after mile. It takes a long time to average those 99.9mpg into what I really get.

That also provides an opportunity to say "See Honey, my mpg's aren't bad at all!"

Well my mileage doesn't change. And I haven't taken any special trips so I'm gonna believe I get 18.9 :burnrubber:

do it by hand with gallons vs miles. if you've gotten bigger tires then yours is inaccurate.

Welcome to the real world of 4Runner mpg's. If it's any consolation I think you're pretty close to what the window sticker states as city driving mpg's.

I'm not too sad about it lol I actually get a little better gas mileage than my Audi TT I had so it's all good. I wouldn't trade my Runner for anything.

With my 255/75/17s, my hand calculations actually match my console +/- .2 I'm right around 16.5 on a very regular basis. I stopped paying attention months ago though, except that my light comes on RIGHT when my lie-o-meter hits 0 and that's usually about 19-19.5 gallons to fill her up.
