What did you pay for your 2016 trail edition premium at the dealer

I'm just wondering I placed an order for a trail premium just waiting for it to come from Japan and was wondering how much did you did you pay the stealership out the door for 2016 trail premium models thanks.

 

It doesn't really matter what everyone else paid... it matters if what you paid is a fair price for your market.

My Trail Premium MSRP was $41,950 and I paid $40,151. I live in Portland Or but bought it in Las Vegas Nv. Dealers in Portland wanted to give me a whopping discount of $422 off the MSRP so I went onto the Internet and found the same vehicle in Las Vegas. Flew down and drove it home...........

 

Go through costco if you are a member

 

That's about the same price I was quoted with 1,500 off but with doc fees and taxes still comes out to a little higher than msrp for a premium trail with kdss. Mainly wanted to see if guys on the mainland got better price than us guys in Hawaii there's only 2 dealers and the have a monopoly on the market here for tacomas and all Lexus and toyotas

No problem. They sometimes get stuff for like 500 above cost or crazy stuff like that.

 

How long did they tell you it would take? I ordered a TEP w/KDSS on February 8th. It is scheduled to be in port April 25th. Then probably about 10 days to get to my dealer, so right at 3 months. I am so ready for this thing to get here!

 

I just bought my 2016 Trail Premium with KDSS on April 16th, 2016 in National City, California. I found that there is usually one or two "Trails" floating around that all the dealers have access to. I talked to three different dealers in three different cities and all of them showed me a document that said this "Trail", the exact same one I bought (same Vin), was coming into their Dealership on the 15th of April. I found the best price to be through "Costco's Auto Program" - so went with it. The MSRP was $42300.00 I paid $39786.00 plus tax, license, destination and such but that would be the same (based on price) with any purchase. I also opted for the Toyota Extended warranty of 8 years or 75,000 miles. I have never purchased an extended warranty before, BUT with all the computers and mega expensive modules these days I felt it was worth it.

 

I ordered a Trail Prem on Jan 28 and took delivery on March 2. They told me it would take 4 months ... HA! Love the vehicle.

 

2016 TE Premium White w/KDSS. MSRP was 41,850 got them down to 38572.00

Ordered it March 21st, picked up it April 21st.

been a bit since I was here.My 2010 was rear ended.I believe that most accidents occur within a mile or two of your home.Yup that is correct Johnny...Just down the road...Anyway i couldnt stand to look at it anymore so we went and bought a trail premium. They sent me an email witch i printed and cost was $41,500 w/KDSS. After all was said and done I paid $36.100 + taxes and and all the neat stuff they charge you for. I just wish that I could have gotten a pull out tray with the hidden compartment for storage, had it in my 2010 sr5.

 

$39,331 is what I paid a few days ago! Plus made them toss a bunch of TRD parts in at no cost to me!

 

2016 white trail premium w/kdss $38,256 + tax.

Acessories included: window tint, clear bra, remote start, and running boards.

I made the deal 2 weeks ago. Should be at the dealer beginning of July.

My tactic was BCC a email to every new car sales manager in my area (Denver, CO). Email was pretty simple. Told them exact vehicle I wanted, told them I was in no rush if they had one coming in the next couple of months that was fine.

Told all sales managers to reply with lowest price for vehicles and acessories within 24 hours and whoever had the best price I would be in the following day to pay cash for the car.

 

I'm currently looking now and I have a trail premium with step bars and remote start at $39,032 with them paying tax and tag which would be around $1400 I think

 

I purchased a 2016 Trail Premium (Black on Black Leather). I shopped local dealerships in my area and told them I was a Costco member. One dealer offered $300 over invoice, another Dealer offered $100 over invoice. I ended up getting it at invoice ($37,103.00).

It also included the chrome tip exhaust and roof rack cross bars, all weather floor mats, lifetime free emissions/inspections and 3years oil changes, plus the 15k and 30k major service (whatever that is).

I feel pretty good about it. The Black Trail Premium was hard to get in my area also (I live in Salt Lake), so I bought it on a Saturday and picked up the car the following Tuesday.

*I had previously used the Costco member deal when I purchased a Subaru years ago. They dont even check your Costco card. It's easy. However, it does affect the salesman's commission. But... oh well.

 

Paid $47,820 Cdn, about $37,300 US, for our Trail. There is only one Trail model here but it does seem to include a lot of the goodies; nav, power locks/windows, moon roof, backup camera, all season mats, heated/power front seats, running boards, splash guards, KDSS, skid plates for engine, fuel tank & tsfr case, rear differential lock, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, etc. Plus free oil changes, etc. I've no idea how that compares to the various US Trails - Ted
