    Auburn representing!

I run a local guide service, if anyone wants a custom tour, or contact me if you want tips on places in Tahoe , El Dorado, and Toiyabe national forests. I have abused the hell out of my 2nd gens and 5th gen, so have a good idea of their capabilities, stock and otherwise. And seriously, I'm happy to give free advice and maps, this is a community.

@Bodie the Dog way to step up! I run Cisco and Bowman quite a bit if you're ever looking for a sidekick. Take care out there y'all.

There's a route to Mossy Pond, just NE of Signal Peak, that I could use some backup on. Not long, but fun crawling on granite, like the western entrance to the Rubicon, but still unknown. I'll post up an invitation after the snow has melted. And have you been the secret way in to Loch Leven? LOL, I reopened an old road recently.

Signal Peak run looks fun. I'm down to run around. I have gear but no winch. I'll msg you my number.

Yeah, 4runners is not all that active of a forum with the exception of a few. I'm trying to get something going for our area. Meetup/camping trips (family friendly) general resources/help etc

Beauty of living in this area, is there are so many small town watering holes, random old gold mine bars. We should definitely go for a run, and grab a frosty on the way back.

That's not the issue.. like I said, I am doing a write up but here are some pics. I am cutting vinyl protection and going to be selling them for pretty much what they cost me etc.

Wow, I had looked at that and almost went with it too. I ended up choosing Gobi, but still waiting after 6-7 months.

@BlackInSac we got a few folks around here itching to go. @MyWyfsRnnr, myself, @Bodie the Dog are floating around. I'm booked until mid-May, but a meetup is in order. Plus if you're in EDH we're close to EGT so that's a good start.

What is EGT? If it's like MET, then I'll pass.

Are any of you available mid-week? It can make a big difference, having the trails to yourself. Otherwise, how about the weekend of May 22nd? I'm thinking about a run up past Signal Peak to Lola Montez area, where there's a couple short 4Lo trails in forest and open granite. A nice boulder to park on top of, too, if you're a poser like me. And I usually find my way to the top of the peak for sunset (via the easy way).

This trip is probably ok for an experienced driver with a stock 4runner, but you do risk damage if you don't have a lift and sliders. There are some tight corners and occasional asshole boulders blocking the trail. Leave the RTT at home, unless you bring a chainsaw to clear low-hanging branches. Desert pinstriping is also very probable. We would be meeting at Cisco Grove.

Let's head up! I'm good that weekend. I'll bring loppers to save the striping haha. I've run most of that area. I love it.

What is EGT Emigrant Gap Trail I presume?
I have a 3" Toytec Ultimate, but no sliders. Maybe I will get luck and damage the stupid Limited kick panels to justify sliders... My son as baseball and flag football on 5/22, but if you go 5/23 I think I can swing it!

Some friends just went up Leviathan mine and Barney Riely this weekend and got stopped by some good snow drifts in a rubicon on 34's. Said another week or so it should be clear.
