    Well it was rubbing on fender well and mud flaps. So I went with a 275/70/17 to finish off the 2”/1.5” lift. Pretty happy with the outcome.

    2” rough country front with 1.5” Cornfed rear and I did install Bilstein 5100 rear shocks. I’m happy with the outcome. I only do light dirt trails and it’s my daily driver.

    I wonder why you had rubbing with the Toyos. Are you running any additional wheel spacers? Was your lift installed before mounting the tires?

    No spacers. Lift was installed before the tires.

    I guess you won't know for sure until they're mounted on your truck. Caveat emptor.

    The Falkens you got are listed as 32.4" diameter and 11.1" width, vs. 33.1" diameter and 10.0" width for the Toyos. I wouldn't think you would get rubbing at both the front and rear of the wheel well with one tire but no rubbing at all with the other. Maybe the shoulder blocks on the Falkens aren't as blocky or squared off they are on the Toyos, I don't know.

    That is where it was going to rub. It was very close just sitting on flat ground. I didn’t want to find out later down the road on a trail.

    I have 1,000 km on the new Toyo AT3. They are P265/70/17 and have been driven on black ice, snow and temperatures down to -40 C(here in Edmonton, Alberta). These are fantastic and are superior to the winter tires I had on. The ride is smooth and vehicle feels well planted. Looks like I won't need to switch back and forth for winter which is a nice savings

    I just drove 840 miles through a massive rain storm that felt like it would never end. The AT3's did incredibly well and the truck felt stable, I am very happy with them. I just wished my damn wipers would have moved fast enough.

    BFG KO2's 265/70/17 C Load
    I am excitedly waiting to get my A/T3’s installed on Monday! I went with LT265/70/17 E load! I am thinking of having America’s Tires (Discount Tires) air up the tires to 44 PSI. What does everyone think?

    I’ve been meaning to ask, are these tires double sided? Meaning, is one sidewall more aggressive than the other or are both sidewalls the same?

    44 is the correct pressure according to this calculator: OTOH, I ran stock size LT's (KO2's) at 35 PSI for 29K miles and they wore evenly, and had 80% of the original tread left when I swapped for 285's.

    So, don't be afraid to experiment. I think the calculated pressure it a great starting point. It's also ideal if you're going to be towing or hauling a lot.

    I have read that one side has extra grooves in the side lugs. It's worth looking at before they mount them.

    I have a set of 285/70/17's in LT/C. I average around 16-17 combined, and have seen about 19 (highway) at best. For comparison, on stock size KO2's (in LT/C) I generally got 18-19 and up to ~21 highway.

    I assume you mean "lift."

    The lift isn't really necessary as much as alignment (maximum caster) and possibly some trimming depending on wheel offset. I believe there are a few people running 285's with no lift.

    I am lifted 2.3" in front, and have the body mounts trimmed.

    I think you'll like them, but let us know how it goes, the good and bad, if any.

    I think it's better to be on the safe side with extra puncture resistance if you're doing any offroading in the southwest. Unfortunately, a young couple found this out the hard way this past week when they got 2 flat tires on their Subaru when they were off camping by themselves near Death Valley.

    Just got my Toyo Country AT3's in 285/70 R17, E load. I actually love them. The truck feels stable and they are surprisingly quiet.

    Fender liner trim, aftermarket mudflaps (RokBlokz)

    Wheels were 17 × 9 Pro Comp 005's. -6mm offset.

    I'm now on 295's with 0 offset wheels and had to remove or adjust the front mudflaps. I say "or" because I never got around to adjusting them and the tire removed one of them for me when I bottomed out while turning. I have them both removed now. :oops:

    I purchased these last fall. Was happy but I deal with constant shaking at high speeds (passenger seat shakes when empty and steering wheel too when braking). I have new rotors, brakes, balanced like 3x, and new method 17in rims. I’ve have it all checked, and rechecked (shocks and struts too) a I can only isolate it to the tires. I really don’t want to buy new ones but I feel like I am going nuts trying to find the source of the shaking. Could it be the AT 3s?

    Side note: I drove them across the country from PA to WA (recently moved here) and all the checks were done after that so I still stumped.

    Got on my new LT-C 35x11.5R17s today. The full size spare is mounted on spare steely and tucks in tight under car. Chose this size because it was the same width as my LT285/70R17 which were 11.4 inches. BMC with plastics cut/pushed and front mud flaps deleted. Toytec Aluma 2.5 with SPC UCA. SCS Ray10s in 17x8.5 and -10 offset.

    I've seen a lot of cars with bronze wheels nowadays. I've read a lot of good stuff about Toyo tires AT3 especially its handling and braking performance on and off-road. I've never attempted to run a set on my truck before.
