Got a P2716 code on my brand new ORP with 2000 miles on it.

It’s currently at the dealership torn down.

    possible computer or transmission replacement.

Man, sorry to hear about that! What was it doing to throw that code?

No symptoms. Happened out of nowhere. Kills cruise control and traction control features.

Good! At least your car recognized the pressure failure and possibly avoided any damage. Keep us updated bud

    What's a P2716 mean?

Looks muddy. Did it pop up while you were wheeling?

P2716: Pressure control solenoid... Man, hope that it's not a full transmission replacement. Could be a faulty wire in the harness, or the solenoid itself. With only 2000 miles, it's nuts. Good luck and keep us posted.

    Cheers,

    Sean

Hopefully Toyota takes care of you, and you don't have any other issues.

Thought mud too. My buddy just went wading in a 3 ft mud pit in a brand new LC heritage and blew his alternator. Obviously dealer didn’t cover so he’s out 1600 and no alternator in the US. Hope that wasn’t the case here.

No way this could be from a little mud. I would drive a car through the roads I was on.
