    I believe it’s a 921/912 style bulb. Perhaps just put in a LED version which is much brighter ?

    I too want a brighter and flashing plug and play 3rd brake light. (Not interested in soldering wires option)
    One on tow hitch is not good. I have one of those somewhere which no more using.

    Not sure how much brighter it is (although it does have an additional LED strip) but it appears to have the flashing function. If you don’t mind a red or smoked lens then it might be what you are looking for.
