Hello, I'm new to the forum and in need of some guidance. I have a 1987 5 speed manual 4x4 4Runner. I live in Raleigh, NC. I need suggestions on where/who to go to for a restoration. Bought it in college and loved it, However, it's been a money pit. Now I have a everyday car that I really don't drive that often, so my thoughts are to fix up the 4Runner as my everyday car. It's not currently running, and the engine is probably toast...the outside isn't terrible, but could use some loving. Basically I'm searching for someone/some place that does restorations (at a decent price) that's in or near the Raleigh area. The engine is the main fix that needs to be done, but would like to finish everything else...any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks for the response. I am working on getting the pictures. The interior isn't bad, but was thinking of doing some waterproofing (if possible). The body is in pretty good shape as well, just some small rust spots that could be fixed. Then eventually getting a matte finish for a paint job. I could probably do some things on my own, but since I don't have the time/tools to do it, I am looking around to see who can.
