Looking at getting my wife a 4runner. I know she has to have heated and cooled leather seats. Is the Limited the only model they come in? We like the front end on the other models better. Haven't been to the dealer yet. I drive a newer Tundra and love it. Thanks.

Looks like the "Compare models" does not show it clearly. But yes, the Limited is the only model with both heat and cool seats. Main reason for me to give my wife the Limited is because its the only model with full time 4wd system. Automatic running board is an added bonus too. We got the Limited with 7 seat option as well.

As for the front end I see some changing the Limited front end to regular front end but not sure what they do with the parking sensors. BTW, Limited is the only trim with parking sensors as well.

This is our 2019 Limited. Yes, I changed the 20" wheels to 17" wheels with 285/70R17 tires.

Thanks all for the info. Nice looking ride kmeeg. Front end looks better with the silver. I have to take mine for the 5k check up this week or next. I'll get a better look then.

You can look at the Limited nightshade which has a blacked out trim piece which would match other colors as well.

The Nightshade is a great ride on the road. It is great in the snow and the interior looks amazing. The all time 4WD was a main point for me. Two weeks in and I couldn't be happier. The only thing I'll say is the TDR Pro looks incredible too. Tough choice but my driving is mostly highway right now so I went Limited. Any 4Runner is great

I recommend looking at the Lexus GX as well, if the purpose is city use/ daily driving.

I have a new TRD pro, my wife has a year-old GX. Its our 2nd GX, after a 2017.

For daily use, the GX is a better all around SUV. the interior is far more upscale, its more quiet, the v8 + 6speed transmission are well matched, it seats 7, and the seats are more comfortable, and the ownership experience is flawless. The lease programs on the GX have been very strong in our experience.

The 4runner is more youthful, and I can't wait to begin taking it camping, hunting, etc. with our kids. However, if those were not my intentions, the GX is a more useful all around vehicle.

Can't go wrong with a Lexus. Solid truck, very pricey. I just love the feel of the 4Runner. I don't even miss the V8 in my '03 Limited. The 5th Gen is great and if they change the 4Runner to a more ergonomic engine in the future, buy one now.
